“I moved to Palm Bay in August of 2019 from Port St. Lucie. I am a former vet tech and along with my boyfriend, had 3 elderly dogs and 4 cats that needed to be seen closer to home. The Animal Hospital of Palm Bay was recommended by a good friend so we trusted that was the place to go. It’s been a difficult few months...we have lost all three dogs in less than 3 months, two in 10 days. Dr. Jason saw 2 of my cats and helped my 14 year old pup over the Rainbow Bridge and Dr. Rodriguez guided our old boxer over today. In between, we’ve had 2 cats seen with great success. I can’t recommend this hospital enough. The staff is friendly and compassionate, the doctors are fantastic. Even after all of our losses in a short period of time, I’m so grateful that we’ve found a vet home for our kitties and such a loving team to help us through the passing of our babies. 5 stars just aren’t enough.”

“We visited the new facility this week for a sick visit for our cat. Cali was terrified! She was only crated for spaying and vaccines. She is indoor only. Dr. Eades came in. He remembered us from a year and a half ago when we were there with a sick puppy. He is still compassionate, conversational, and makes sure you know the possibilities of your pets condition while waiting for test results. The staff was wonderful. Cali was handled with care. We left with follow up medications and thorough instructions. We await some lab results but I have no doubt that they will be accurate and easy to understand. Cannot say enough good things about the Shallowford Animal Hospital. We feel like family when we are there and that's something that most physician's offices cannot achieve!”

“We got our puppy in April of 2020 and were looking for a great clinic that had a puppy package. This clinic has exceeded our expectations. The staff is so kind and caring. They are always willing to answer all my questions as a new dog owner and see Bauer if an emergency arises. I know they treat my puppy right because he is always so excited to go to the vet. “Dr. Brooks and his staff are incredible. They have helped me with my rabbits and Dr. Brooks even came back in after leaving because I totally forgot my appointment time once. No attitude, no bad manners, just a caring vet who wanted to help me. I've always been able to go in the back with no issues. Also, after the last hurricane, my brother's pit bull was hit by a car. Everywhere was closed. I was rushing through Bartow with a very injured dog in my back seat hollering for help. I noticed Dr. Brook's truck in the driveway so I pulled in. He wasn't even open but rushed out immediately and did not hesitate to pick up a full grown, bloody, and scared Pit needing emergency help. He didn't turn me away and Nicole at the front was there and was the most sweetest, most caring person helping me calm down. Dr. Brooks helped our big boy cross the rainbow bridge that day due to his substantial injuries. He took x-rays and made sure we made the right choice. He made sure he was cleaned up, and that he wasnt feeling any pain under sedation. He even waited HOURS for my brother to come back from Orlando to say goodbye to his best friend. He let our ENTIRE family in the back to say goodbye to our big boy and never rushed us. This place was closed that day. By miracle, Dr Brooks and Nicole were there to check on the building after the hurricane. He didn't have to help us but he chose too. I cannot say enough good things about this place. For anyone saying he is a bad vet, I'm sorry. Dr. Brooks if you're reading this, I'd like to say thank you for that day. And thank you for the help with my rabbits and being the kind hearted vet you are. I have a new puppy, and I'll be seeing you soon!”
