Sarasota Jungle Gardens

Address: 3701 Bay Shore Rd, Sarasota, FL 34234, USA

Zoo Park

“We had a great time interacting with flamingos and exotic birds. There was so much to see and the walk was great. The butterfly garden is a wonderful and beautiful experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only critic would be the restrooms. The restrooms are not set up for handicap or families. They were very uncomfortable. That's why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.”

Santa’s Farm - Reservations Required

Address: 35317 Huff Rd, Eustis, FL 32736, USA

Zoo Restaurant

“Such a cute location! We’d never been here before and were here today for a mini photo session. The location has restrooms, food locations, the tree farm itself and multiple additional interactive options such as a zip line and playground. Most of the activities were closed and that’s okay as almost everyone there was attending a session with one of the various photographers. There were a few people selecting their trees to cut for the holidays and the options were impressive.”

“My family recently visited Jenny’s petting zoo & loved it!! My daughter is obsessed with camels, so this was a big win! The pony & camel rides were so much fun for the kids! Admission & parking was free, and feeding & riding the animals was very reasonable! I absolutely recommend this place!”

Branan Field Wildlife and Environmental Area

Address: 11900 Branan Field Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32222, USA

Zoo Park

“Perfect place to experience what this area looked like prior to mass suburbanization and beltways. This mostly quiet woodland area is excellent for short to moderate walks. The vast majority of the property is dry and there are many locations in which to put a blanket on the ground for a relatively secluded picnic or hang a hammock. The property abuts to an active airfield and there were a few flights the day we visited but it was calm and quiet most of the time.”

Zoo Park Doctor Health

“Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary in Merritt Island is a beautiful hidden gem. There are miles of waterway with thousands of fishing spots. There is also a nice hiking trail, however it is hit or miss if the trail will be maintained. All in all Ulamay is a great place to spend a few hours or even the day exploring.”

Cove Road Park

Address: Stuart, FL 34997, USA

Zoo

“Great little place tucked out of the way to throw a line in. The only down side is at dusk the bugs are out in full force and bug spray barley puts a dent in it. But the sand does feel good between your toes.”

Brevard Zoo

Address: 8225 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940, USA

Zoo

“Love this small zoo. Giraffes to feed, flamingos, sloths and other amazing animals. We are local and enjoy going several times a year. The walk through is mostly in the shade. The park is well planned so you can visit just part of it if that is all your time allows. Highly recommend.”

The kids spends so much time with the animals as well as taking turns riding the pony. The staff were very kind and helpful and set up was nice and easy and they did it all.”

You can opt to do a combo pack where you get to hold a baby alligator and feed the turtles and a pet pig! Pricing for adults is $17.00, $12.00 for kids, $8.00 for three and under. The man that owns it is hilarious and you can tell he loves what he does. When someone is happy with their job it shines out onto their customers, as we all know. Anytime we come back we will definitely be visiting!”

Matthews Avenue Beach Access

Address: 4201 S Atlantic Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169, USA

Park Zoo

“Pretty much like any other beach access. Except you are allowed to drive on the beach with your car or dune buggy. For a fee of course. Parking and walking down to the beach can be a hassle.”

Lake Woodruff Wilderness

Address: De Leon Springs, FL 32130, USA

Zoo Park

“I absolutely love Lake Woodruff Wildlife refuge. I am able to go quite often. On Sunday's I have walked with Roger and other birders. I have seen millions of tree swallows come in to roost for the night. I have seen the snow geese wintering. I have gathered my thoughts in the quiet solitude that is that place. I do not want to see The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, make another disgusting mistake and open this Refuge up to more hunting and fishing. In a refuge the animals and people are kept safe, it's the very meaning of the bloody word! Vivienne Powis West Volusia Audubon”

Jungle Adventures, A Real Florida Animal Park

Address: 26205 E Colonial Dr, Christmas, FL 32709, USA

Zoo

“This place was really cool. Lots of big alligators and other animals. The staff was great although I think they got sick of my jokes which is understandable. There is a strong smell of sulfur but I dont think they can do anything about that. Some of the animals clearly need better care. The coyote obviously has anxiety issues from being locked in a small cage by itself and the bear looked depressed. The big cats are out of shape and also look in poor health. I know the gators are the main attraction, but if they're going to have these other animals they should take better care of them.”
