“I wish I could remember the officer's name I spoke with through the non-emergency line. He was incredible when he didn't have to be. I called about an airboat on the swamp area on my property and he was awesome in identifying that it was mosquito control. He also explained how the laws work for waterways in Florida, which I didn't know and helps me and my neighbors. He spent a good 5 minutes just being helpful with questions I've had since I moved here (and he didn't have to do this at all!). He could have simply said it's mosquito control and hung up. Instead, he even explained what they're doing and what to look for to be able to identify their vehicles other than boats. Sir, if you ever read this - thank you. My neighbors and I have been trying to figure who to contact and get answers from for a while and we always got sent somewhere else. You not only answered all of those questions, you did it kindly .”

Michael, the owner, called me back the following day, and we spoke about servicing my car. He answered all my questions and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the Toyota-Lexus brand. I had a fleet of Toyota trucks for well over 40 years when I owned a service business before retiring, so I know a little bit more about Toyotas. I made the appointment and will be dropping my Lexus RX350 off in a few days for service. If Hopefully, Michael and his staff will service my car properly, and I'll be able to give them a 5-Star Rating the next time.”

“Excellent service from office staff, dental 🦷 tech assistants, and the dentist. They took care of my mother and we’re concerned about her health. For example, she had blood 🩸 work done before her oral surgery, and the office staff asked if she had eaten since drawing blood. They were concerned her blood sugar would be low which would be affected by anesthesia applied. She had not eaten and the staff kindly provided her with a piece of bread with butter and coffee. Love 💕 the attention and kindness. Wow. Just wow 😳”

“TikTok made me come here and I’m thankful. If you’re looking for customer service then look elsewhere because it does not exist here. They are very Haitian and there is definitely a language barrier without patience. I didn’t see a menu anywhere so I had to speak to the woman in Creole for her to get my order. She does speak English however the accent is strong. When I got there it was full of people and she has a bell in the front. They people waiting before me rang the bell several times to get her attention. The interior is very small and they are primarily a take out restaurant so there are about four chairs. Enough for at least eight people to sit down and eat comfortably. She was the head chef and the cashier at the same time. I got the Fried Turkey with White Rice and SosPwa Noir. It was so good that I ate the rice without the beans. I drank the bean sauce by itself. The meat was tender and it wasn’t dry at all. The plantains were crunchy and had a lemon flavor to it. The pikliz was sweet and spicy. I’ll definitely come back here.”

“Ice cream was very good! Service was excellent. Homemade ice cream was special. I had the Rocky Road and that was especially good. It had the mini marshmallows. Butter Pecan was very good. My wife had coffee and peanut butter flavors. She did not prefer the coffee as it was "too strong" of a coffee flavor. I tried it and liked it, but coffee and peanut butter flavors aren't my preferred icecream flavors. She loved the peanut butter flavor. We plan to return .”

“What a gem! I've lived in this area for 4 years and cannot believe I hadn't tried Padula's before tonight. I'm sure I'll catch some flack for the pineapple on the pizza, but it was SO GOOD! My husband and I will definitely be back. The fried zucchini was so amazing that I couldn't get a picture before it were all gone. The pizza crust was delicious as well and I could eat it by itself. The garlic loaf is well worth it! Bravo.”

“My barber Chai Perez is the Ritz-Carlton 5-star equivalent of hair magic and hair detail. As someone that travels a lot and gets hair cuts in a lot of places, I sadly have received not so great haircuts over the years between CT, AZ, CA, etc. Every time I am in town in Sarasota, FL I know it's going to be a great, peaceful, well done haircut. She is patient and asks clarifying questions just to make sure she is getting the hair and beard right along the process. While it's priced premium, it's worth every penny to have such high quality barbers working at ManCave Waterside. Highly recommended!”
