“I stopped at A Quilting Palette after dropping my hubby off at the Orlando Airport. The shop is not far at all outside The Villages and even with the construction on the main road, my GPS took me right there. The shop is small but very bright and cheery and has a main room that you enter into and then a second room that is part fabric and part classroom/workspace. The people there, workers, other customers (they were quite busy for 10:00 on a Wednesday morning) and people in the classroom were all very friendly. The lady that checked me out was very, very pleasant and seemed very happy to be there. She added a nice happy atmosphere to the cheery fabrics I saw in the store. I was able to find a gift I was looking for there too. I would definitely recommend that you make this shop a stop on your next quilting shop adventure!”

“Upon arriving I did not know what to expect. I have been calling different places for 10 days trying to even get all call back, and they answered and got me in within a week. The initial lady on the phone was amazing and super helpful, and walked me through the online paperwork process. When I got there today I was pleasantly surprised to find a quiet office that had a warm feeling not like a doctors office or strip mall office building. I was quickly greeted and met with Kristen. She was awesome. It felt like talking to a long time friend and that I was being listened to. My voice and opinion mattered and it was refreshing. If you are looking for help in this field and do not give these ladies a chance well you are doing yourself a disservice, they truly care and it shows!”

“THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM! 💎 Food…incredible. I had the cheesesteak, bun was crispy yet soft, meat was flavored perfectly, juicy, and the vegetables were fresh & cooked right! My husband had the FarmHouse Flatbread with Apples and Bacon, which I also tried and it was BOMB. The soft drinks come in actual BIG glasses so no need to ask for 5 refills in a sitting. “When I relocated to the area four years ago, I sought continuing care from an oncologist. At my first visit I asked the oncologist for a recommendation for a primary care physician. Dr. Clarissa Abrantes was the first physician I contacted. I was somewhat apprehensive at the first visit, but she quickly put me at ease with her warmth and kind demeanor. I was most impressed that when she walked into the exam room for the first time, she obviously had made the effort to completely review the medical records provided by my previous physician. She continues to impress me with her preparedness. The entire staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Patients are greeted warmly upon arrival. I feel comfortable with both PAs, and I am confident when I see either of them that they and Dr. Abrantes function effectively as a team. The office staff addresses requests promptly and demonstrates patience when explaining tests and procedures and follow-ups. Requests for refills are handled promptly, and appointments are scheduled in a timely manner. I am indeed fortunate to have found Dr. Abrantes and her team. Ruthie Fritts”
