Victoria Campground

We are on #50. It is close to the water and it’s a pull through. I love the campgrounds. I think it’s the cleanest campgrounds we visited so far. We’ve met some really nice campers here. The camp host was friendly as well. He would ride through on his electric moped just to make sure everything was ok.
We will be back. Had a really great time here.

My favorite campground ever! Peaceful, lovely and so quiet. Park attendants were kind and helpful. Spacious sites. We will be back!

This is another great COE campground on Lake Allatoona about 45 min north of Atlanta. The sites are paved, fairly well spread out and come with 50A and water. There are 2 dump stations in the CG. The only negative I have is that I arrived on the day the CG opened for the season, and the dumpsters were already full. They weren't emptied during my 5 day stay. Do note that the gates are locked each night, and you won't be able to come in or leave, except emergencies, until the attendants open them in the morning.

Stone Mountain state park is about an hour and half away with lots to do for the family. Kennesaw Mtn National Battefield Park is about 30 min away for history buffs. There is a Wally World about 4 miles away.

What a lovely campground to stay and enjoy the nature of beautiful tall trees and a lake you can swim and fish in. My daughter loved the playground and the beach as well. I recommend this place if you're looking to have a clean and very spacious campsite. We had a few fires in the fire ring available and enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Note: park closes gate nightly at 10:30pm so you can't go out so make sure you have all you need. They open the gate daily at 7am. There was barely a signal (At&t) and no internet connection near campsite 41. Traffic in morning leaving to Marietta was pretty bad. But still love this place and we'd like to go back and try a different spot, closer to the lake.
