“Recently decided to switch a family member to this practice. Patience is a virtue. I waited on hold …… not just with this office but many others call volumes are high everywhere. This practice was worth the time on hold. Most importantly Dr. Lakhanpal the time he spent explaining into detail about what was going on…. Made it so worth the time. Yes, I was frustrated about the phones but when the manager and staff greets you with a smile and you have doctor who actually spends time and doesn’t rush or get impatient with an elderly patient that is what matters to me. Manager stepped in after our appointment and apologized. It was genuine and kind just like the staff was. Main point is sometimes it worth the “wait” keep up the great work. Especially the TEAMWORK. So thankful we made the change. This really made me happy and feel that I made the right decision ….. I mentioned our next visit if she is in a wheelchair they would gladly come down and help. “When I was 15 years old I broke my back in multiple places in an unfortunate accident. Fast forward many years and a full career of competitive wakeboarding, I had no choice but to face spinal surgery, as my back had only gotten worse, year by agonizing year. I searched for neurosurgeons in my area, found what seemed like a competent doctor. He completely ruined my back so badly I had to immediately seek out another neurosurgeon to fix the massive malpractice and sheer incompetence of the aftercare when they realized the mistake the Gainesville, ga surgeon(who I will not name) had made. This lead me to ortho Atlanta, no Piedmont orthopedics, Dr. Kasow and Nicole were a breath of fresh air! They were very understanding and clear on what should be done. Not only did Dr. Kasow take me on as a patient to save my active lifestyle, he went the extra mile during the surgery when he found more damage caused by the previous surgeon. I will forever be grateful to the entire team at Piedmont orthopedics. Coming up on a decade of care with them, from knee surgeries to general pain management from my back and sciatic nerve damage.
