“My oldest son has autism and has had bad experiences the past couple times at the dentist when we moved to the area, because all that dentist focused on was shoving 20 patients into the back and getting patients in and out. So when Smiles for Kids and the doctor came highly recommended, we decided to give it a chance. Everyone was wonderful from scheduling, check in, and all other staff! They took their time explaining things to my sons and making them feel comfortable. Both of the boys were so excited when leaving and said they wanted to come back. Dr. Sharma was very sweet and did a great job explaining things. Overall wonderful experience and we are so happy!!”

“My husband and I have been going to Dr. Poindexter for many years and we now bring our young son. Dr. Poindexter's office is the perfect small practice dental office where everyone knows your name. His practice is the opposite of uncaring, rushed corporate dental clinics that pop up everywhere. I cannot say enough kind things about his dental hygienist, Tracy. She is incredibly kind, gentle and caring. She remembers our conversations and asks about family when we see her. I love getting my teeth cleaned and she does an amazing job. Even my young son loves coming here to get his teeth clean! We've never had a problem with our insurance being accepted and the only way I'm switching dentists is if Dr. Poindexter retires!”

“I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, let me just say that this was the absolute best experience I have ever had from the moment I booked the appointment to the moment I left I felt comfortable and at ease. The office staff were friendly, patient, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable they explained my visit and my treatment plan with confidence and patience. The hygienist was absolutely wonderful she was funny and gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and explained what she was doing and why... x-rays were fast and efficient and overall easy. Dr. Haycock was fabulous! Super kind and friendly, again funny and put me at ease... he was able to pull my wisdom tooth that I had been in so much pain with. He was again fast and efficient and I had no pain during. He was simply great. I highly recommend this office for dental care... the whole staff really care about their patients and the needs. Everyone is knowledgeable and kind just good hearted place. As long as I go here I do not forsee that anxiety rearing it's ugly head. A big thank you to this team!!!”

“Awesome staff and space. We took our 1 year old here for her first checkup. The dentist, hygienist, and front desk staff were very courteous and professional. We eagerly made a follow up appointment for 6 months. The back space is open which is nice if you have siblings. They can see each other while they are getting cleanings and such. They also have video games in the back and televisions on the ceiling.”

“Great service. They kept me appraised of everything every step of the way. I had a tooth break due to a cavity under a filling. They even positioned a mirror so I could see the cavity myself and not just the X-ray of it. I was even informed over the phone when booking they have a plan you can sign up for that gives great discounts on all their services. I pay out of pocket for dentistry so this was a game changer for me! I saved hundreds getting my crown from them. I’ve had bad experiences in the past and have avoided the dentist because of them. This office made me feel comfortable and safe like I haven’t felt in a very long time. They were honest and upfront. Definitely willing to come to them for a cleaning after the permanent crown goes on in 2 weeks! I feel like I can trust them and I’ll start coming to the dentist for regular cleanings now. “Dr. Sam and his staff do an outstanding job! Dr. Sam called several times before the teeth extractions to make sure that my husband was taking his meds correctly! During the extractions, Dr. Sam explained to my husband, James as he went along. He also came out & spoke with me. He had the surgery on Friday & Dr. Sam called today to make sure that everything was good. We have NEVER had a dentist to call personally & check on us!
