Working with Nick, I started practicing a handful of songs that I had been wanting to learn -- nothing major, but it gave me a reason to start practicing. Then, we moved into music theory, which has given me the vocabulary to talk about musical concepts and patterns I've been noticing my whole life. Some weeks, it's hard to find enough time to practice. But lessons aren't linear: I never feel like I'm falling behind, and I'm always looking forward to my lesson time. We might take the opportunity to look at a new song I've just heard or revisit a concept from months ago. Sound Space has helped me connect with music on a new level. I knew that was missing; I didn't know how accessible it could be.”

“My 14 month old had fun with the hands on, learning activites. The equipment is the perfect size for small children. It seems like the teachers rearrange the equipment for different classes to allow diversity in activities. Everything taught in the class was fun for my child and age appropriate. The teacher, Ms. Armour, was very nice and attentive to each individual child. The children responded well to her happy, well spoken demeanor. Definitely would recommend to anyone with a small child. My daughter is an only child and I could tell she really enjoyed the class.”

She is in the Pre-K program, and the strongest endorsement I can give is that we hope and plan to keep her on for the Kindergarten year. The teachers are enthusiastic, approachable, and somehow manage to educate these kids while giving them the space to explore and "do their own thing."
