  Parking for 4:00 PM Saturday mass is very good.

  This is a welcoming multicultural parish with a new, energetic pastor who has fostered more active lay Catholic involvement in various ministries. The church is packed on Sundays with worshippers of all ages. It has a "go-go" atmosphere but could benefit, I would say from a stronger emphasis on prayerful contemplation of the sacramental mysteries. It seems that the spirit of prayerful silence is lost in the search for more pragmatic action. It is much more difficult to pray now in this church than in the past when there was a more passive pastoral style, but that is just my own experience. I am sure there are many for whom the focus on action helps them encounter God in their own profound way.
  
  There also seems to be something of a personality cult surrounding the pastor, the biker priest - a "Father Maciej Fan Club" - at least in the Polish community. It is forgivable in the sense that this has re-energized and changed the parish with new life but from time to time it seems like this special "chosen-ness" gets to the priest's head. He may be interesting but an ego cult of ego worship rather than God-worship in a church just seems a little off-putting - especially when his fan base takes pictures of him during Mass. He is not Padre Pio.
