Swallow Cliff Stairs and Pavilion

This is a fantastic place to hike, run, or just enjoy nature. Trails can be buddy, but their worth it. Also the stairs can make for a great workout. I haven't used the sledding hill, but it looks promising.

Great hiking and biking trails. It's close to Chicago but feels so far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Truly a great place to unwind and get out into nature. There is also a staircase here with hundreds of stairs and people come to hike up and down the stairs. Quite the workout.

To me it has what I would call a difficult(physically fit)side and a beginners side. Definitely will be going back. Loved it]!!

I saw the stairs coming out of Cal sag biking trail and knew I was coming back. Many people go for exercise by walking or jogging up and down the long stairs. On the top you can continue to a relaxing hiking and biking trail. But I recommend you know where you are and what trail you are following because it gets extensive. Happy trailing.

The stairs at Swallow Cliff are a challenging and fun outdoor workout. An absolutely great way to tone up. Nice views of nature and plenty of trails. Recently added staircase and restrooms which are a really helpful addition.
