“Went here last month. Everything was so good! This was our first time here. We ordered a little of everything to get a feel for the menu. Absolutely no complaints! We tried the apple pie, the key lime pie, the turtle sundae, the strawberry fields sundae, an ice cream sandwich, an ice cream cone, and a root beer float. I love the feel of the place. It almost reminds me of the old ice cream shop that used to be downstairs in the Museum of Science and Industry. They even have an area to host parties!”

“I have long loved this bookstore for its selection of mysteries and histories. While I'm not a Sherlock Holmes guy, there's plenty for those who are fans. The shop is cozy and inviting, and it has long held the most extensive collection of those historical coloring books for kids. The owners do a terrific job of cultivating local authors, sponsoring countless events and contributing much to the Forest Park scene.”

“My friends told me about this place, and I have not stop coming back since. I love the wide selection of treats ( My favorites are the Turtle Brownie Sundae & the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookie ) that always gives you something new to try. If they ask if you want your cookies warmed up, DO IT!! The coffee is great, and the milkshakes are top notch. From the first visit, service has been amazing. Staff is always kind, patient, and gives awesome suggestions. I unknowingly met the owner (later finding out it was her) who was more than happy to converse with me without rushing me at all. She was super nice, and I never felt like a bother. I felt very comfy in the chill atmosphere; It's like visiting a relative. I cannot stop raving about this place, so do yourself a favor and go!”

“It has been a couple of years since I ordered any cakes from Kay's, but whenever I did, I found them to be the best basic chocolate or basic yellow cakes I've ever eaten. They don't look fancier than the ones from the grocery store, but the ones from Kay's actually tasted much better. If they still make them as well as when I last got one, then I strongly recommend this for cakes.”

“Going on your own with 2 toddlers to purchase paint can be a daunting experience. The staff and the gentleman, who I assume was the owner, could not have been more helpful!
