“I remember 25+ years ago when we had a really bad storm there was this kid that leaned on the tree right in front of the school to try and take cover from the rain...i wanted to get into a safe place and when I turned he got struck by lightning. The teachers yelled for him to get inside but he was so scared to move that he hugged onto the tree. I ran right passes him when "BAM!" The lightning hit the tree at the same time that he was about to let go. His hand was smoking. ....his hand was literally smoking!. The students reacted quickly and saved the young man”

“I PASSED THE STATE BOARD EXAM TWICE ON THE FIRST TRY!!!!!! I went to Excelsior to obtain my CNA and Ms. McCarthy and her partners are very hands on and involved in your learning and success. The curriculum and discipline that she provides in her program is much needed! I passed the state board exam the first time on the first try back in 2020 and I ended up having to take the test again after 2 years to renew my license. Ms. McCarthy guided me through the renewal process and got me back on track right away and by studying the information she has in her program I PASSED AGAIN, FOR THE SECOND TIME, ON THE FIRST TRY!!! The program is rigorous yet doable and if you want to PASS THE TEST ON THE FIRST TRY AS LONG AS YOU STUDY THE INFORMATION LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PROGRAM !!! “This is my childrens first year at Saint Symphorosa school and love it here. My children have learned so much from their teachers and the communication is very good. I love that they offer morning care and aftercare, my hours are exactly the same as the school so it makes it easy for me knowing I have somewhere to take them. I love that the students attend mass and they have family events. Overall, we are happy at this school and would recommend it other families.”
