“I am one of the founders/owners of Soderworld and I felt compelled to write this here since google does not allow you to respond to reviews. After reading negative comments below, I sat on it a while but then decided its best to say something. We do not claim to be anything we are not, personally or in business. We are not a college that gives diplomas, we used to be an accredited school through the IBHE when we certified in massage therapy but now our academy only offers Continuing Education hours for Massage Therapists through NCBTMB and Training for Yoga Instructors through Yoga Alliance and general classes to the public. We have many teachers/facilitators from many traditions and philosophies that offer a wide variety of workshops, certifications and classes within the alternative/holistic health field. We take pride in making sure we have highly qualified and skilled facilitators/staff and they are the ones who handle their own licensing/accreditation and issue any certificates offered. There are a lot of people that come in and out on a daily basis and we rely on feedback from others to keep improving and we can not help to resolve any issues one may have if we don’t know about it. I would really hope if someone had a problem with a particular instructor or program offered that they would give us that feedback directly so we can address the concerns instead of leaving an anonymous vague post. With that said, after 20 years in this business I have learned you can not make everyone happy and there are many who are not who they present themselves to be in this field. Some people you vibe with and some you don’t and if our place is not for you, then we hope you find the place that is. We are a spiritual wellness center that opens it’s doors for all to come to learn to heal themselves with whatever path they chose. Even though my family and staff do our best to make things the best and safest we can, we know we will still encounter other’s energy that we don’t connect with or just can’t make happy. I just ask that anyone reading this that feels called to check us out, please do and decide for yourself if our place is for you. Love and light to all and many blessings on your journey! ”
