(October 10, 2018, 2:04 pm)First time launching Kayak at this spot. I paddled up river then back.. Several spots were a real work out against the current. Several times I had to head back doen river a little and attack the curretnt from a diffrent side or angle. I reached a point right below the algonquin dam where the current was too strong and turned around and headed back. Great paddle.

Definitely worth visiting for the walk by the banks. -
