“Had never been to a place like it!! So cool. Pick out your seafood options and what spices go in the bag, and they bring it to you in a huge bag. It was delicious!!! Very cool idea and place. It's different and tastes great. It can get pretty messy, so be ready for that. I thought it might be fast food at first, but then I read their description and thought it might be cool. It was. It is a little pricey, but that's because you are paying for top quality seafood. It's a great place to hang out, grab a couple of beers with friends, and dive into your big bag of boiled up seafood!!”

“Probably the best Friday's my girlfriend and I have been to. The greeter was very friendly, our Server Oscar did a phenomenal job. We ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta and sliders. The sliders didn't come out to our liking and we were just looking to replace it with a different order. We were looking to pay for the other order as well. But the manager Kim ended up coming out and making us feel welcomed and not hated for returning food. She and Oscar was able to correct the order and provide a couple of solutions for us that really enhanced our experience. Upon exit, another staff member held the door for us on the way out. Very small actions all around but definitely a big impact. I've told my girlfriend that more than likely we'd be willing to make the trip from Aurora to Geneva just to eat here again. Thanks guys.”

“My son took me here for my Birthday. Was very pleased with my entire experience. Was greeted promptly when entering. Menu selection was great for virtually any type of food. Waitress was friendly, fast and efficient. Food was excellent. The only downside if I had to choose one, would be the noise level. But other than that - Very pleased! “Tried this place for the first time time tonight. I was happy to see it was busy. Nice atmosphere, mix of nicely dressed and casual. Prices are good and the menu covers the bases. I had their stuffed chicken special. The sauce was great, chicken was overcooked though. Pretty tough to cut through on the bottom. My wife had the chopped salad and she really enjoyed it. Has the same issue with the chicken though, said it was pretty dry. My son had the kids pizza. Had to try a piece myself and this was probably the best kids pizza I've had. Definitely going to get pizza the next time we go. Wouldn't mind trying some of the sandwiches either. Service was good, Tricia was busy but friendly and helpful. Certainly will go back just plan on avoiding the chicken.”

“It was my first time here and have heard great things over the years; just could never find an excuse to get out to The Turf Room. A friend and I met for lunch and my gosh I was blown away. The building itself was beautiful inside. I love all the little lamps with flames and of course the fireplace in the center with seating all around. I feel like I typically go conservative on my first meal when trying a new restaurant. I went with the club sandwich and was more than pleased with the portion size as well as the quality of the meats. I started off with a lobster bisque soup and was a bit nervous. It showed up in a cup with a very little amount of what looked like some lobster meat; as the server explained a little more, she poured the soup in the cup and instructed us to stir it up. My friends... if you only order 1 thing ever at this place; I assure you that you must try this soup. The lobster bisque was phenomenally fantastic. My friend and I gushed over the flavor and taste for what seemed like the entire meal. I'm not trying to take away from the well-made sandwich, but try the soup and you'll understand why my review is written this way. Get this soup!”

Then you pick the sauces you want from about a dozen different kinds. Then lastly you pick if you want rice, noodles, or both. Then they cook it up for you. Price is very affordable...I think about $15 per person, and you get easily 2 meals out of it if you fill your plates accordingly.”

“We had our early Valentine's Day dinner last nite. Food was delicious, service was also great it was a treat when the manager asked how my meal was. I then explained that when I originally ordered the meal I wasn't aware of "bay" scallops & thought they were Sea Scallops, didn't quite like them, pleasantly surprised the Manager then said he would bring me a plate of (4) to compensate the bay scallops I didn't eat. They were fabulous. Next visit I'll be sure to order the Sea Scallops, & they are on their menu. Great Customer Service!”

“My wife and I ate at the Algonquin location on Friday night ( 11/2/2018.) We always like to eat in the bar area and sat at a high top. It was very busy, as it was Friday night and many sports on the t.v. Our server was Waylon and he did a great job handling our order and checking back with us on drink refills and other needs. My wife and I shared the Classic Fajitas for two, which were very tasty and well prepared. That was our complete meal, along with the wonder chips and salsa. I also have the house rocks Margarita. It was tasty and refreshing as ever! We had another great experience at our local Algonquin On the Border! Keep up the wonderful work!”
