The spaetzle was a little different than from what I've had at other German restaurants so I'm not sure which one is actually the genuine one. Didn't care much for the sauce/gravy that it was topped with so next time I will get it plain. Service was excellent.”

“Definitely one of the best places to go between Lake and Cook County that is on the water. There's a bar at the pier then there's a ferry ride from the pier to the actual Island and there is two big bars on the island that the service is pretty decent at they do as best as they can with them out of people that they see. There's also boat parking which is really nice if you have a boat on the chain or if you're there just for the day. They also have many live bands on Friday and Saturday nights usually a great time I would highly recommend it to somebody that is not from the area or that has never been here. Usually to have a good time you can easily expect to drop anywhere between 80 to 140 for two. Enjoy!!”
