  One of my favorite places in the burbs! My dogs love it, too. I think it's better to go when there aren't a ton of people, but I'm also antisocial ????

  Great place to hike/bike. Location for the annual Lupus Walk/Run. Good number of places around to eat after.

  Nice park with a little bit more than 5k loop for walk and run. Perfect combination of flat and hilly (just right hilly) areas. Should be perfect in sunny days since have a lot of shadows from trees. The only disadvantage is that way too many cyclists, but people just need to learn how to share roads.

  Money saving tip: park here for free and walk on lake cook road to the botanical garden. It’s a nice paved walk with a board bridge.
  
  Bike speed limit is 8 mph... sorta slow?
