“In a time where customer service isn't always the best and many restaurants are so short staffed that customer service suffers ...... well, this is NOT happening at Johnson's Corner! Since April 2020, Johnson's has faithfully delivered hot dinners to my beautiful mother-in-law twice a week - usually by one of their long-time waitresses, Dena. This is not a service they typically provide but because she is home-bound, they have made this a priority. Dena is amazing. We talk twice a week and she helps me decide what would be the best item that day to order for Mom. With Mom's declining health, Dena has adapted her delivery pattern and occasionally will drop off something she made herself over the weekend and wanted to share. Not because she "has to" but because she wants to. Johnson's Corner owners Jimmy & Cathy are family but Dena is now too! Thank you for being an invaluable part of the Alton/Godfrey community and for taking care of your neighbors.”

Building very clean with an interesting diner style café design and very polite staff. Got a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Veggie Egg White Bites to try. Very nice, and will be back when I’m in the area. :)”

“Because it’s located at the intersection of the only two roads entering the Keys, this Circle K can get quite busy, especially on the weekends and the end of the workday. That said, it has 12 pumps, and you can almost always find at least one or two free ones, even when it’s really busy. The staff are kind, helpful and professional. When they see the checkout lines piling up, they move quickly to open up additional registers. The convenience store is well stocked. All sorts of food, beverages, coolers. A wide selection of beer. One final thing to note: It’s kept very clean. This is something I greatly appreciate, and I don’t think it’s mentioned often enough in service station reviews. There’s nearly always at least one employee specifically dedicated to thoroughly washing the floors and cleaning the bathrooms.”

Lots of TVs everywhere but still quiet enough to have a conversation without having to yell. So large of a selection of different beers, definitely a place I will go back and try some other options. “Went through the drive through around 1:20pm and I did not appreciate the way I was spoke to. The woman who took my order was like what do you want? Asked her to give me a min. please she was short about that. I ordered my first meal without much issue but my 2nd meal she questioned me wanting a plain bun on my beef and cheddar. She was giving me attitude as I was explaining yes I'd like a plain bun not onion. It continued as I asked to sub fries for mozzarella sticks and told her what my drink was. I know during this season some customers can be rude as well but I wasn't being bossy or salty and she was not a very pleasant person. The lady at the window was nice had she taken the order I'm sure I'd have a better review but till this gets addressed I think I'll be going else where.”

“My family has been dining at Castelli's Restaurant for over 30 years. This past week we held a 90th birthday celebration for my mom and booked the gathering in the banquet room. The food is always great at this local favorite restaurant, and the overall experience during this banquet celebration was 'off the chart' awesome. Thank you, Lana, and the whole team who made this evening so wonderfully delightful for my mom and her guests. The food was served family style and everything was perfectly set up. What a feast with everyone bragging about how delicious everything was - served hot with enough food to feed an army! We are so grateful for the attention given in providing mom with such a memorable evening. She says she'd like to do it again when she turns 100 so we'll need to book the banquet room for June 19, 2031. In the meantime, we'll be back many times to dine in the main dining room. Thank you.”
