Once I found what I liked I called and spoke with Hana, the store manager. Hana was a blessing. I told Hana what I was looking to purchase, and she went the extra mile and suggested that she look in the system and send me an email letting me know what was available and how soon. After reviewing the email of options, I was able to look around the GA store and make my selections. I then called Hana back and placed my order over the phone with her. That is definitely the true meaning of customer service. Hana deserves a raise and promotion!!!”

Always stocked always open late when you get that need for a drink. Sodas are still legendary status and the crew goes out of their way to make sure we're taken care of. Even today Thanksgiving, going steady with a line of cars. Hard work is always appreciated.”

Her practice handles a number of different manufacturers, which is not always the case and is a great advantage. Kristie is very professional, knowledgable, experienced, thorough, caring, warm, and friendly. She is extremely articulate and is remarkably good at completely and clearly explaining what the issues are and the steps that are needed to find the solution. She seems to anticipate my questions, and often answers them before I can ask! She is patient, kind, and a very good listener. If you have an issue with your hearing aids, Kristie will not stop until the problem is solved. She obviously loves what she does.”

“Where else is the owner going to put together a new water shut off stem to fit something from the 1950s and do it on the spot! This guy has stuff that other plumbing supply and hardware stores don’t have. If you need an odd nut or bolt walk in show it too him and he’ll grab you one. You don’t have to walk 10 miles searching through a giant store to get what you need. His prices are fair too! This store is part of what makes Alton special, he does a giant service to his community and places like this are a National treasure, not many left. Go do business at Bo’s hardware and you’ll find out what the good old days were about!”

“This place is AMAZING!!!! I had brought one of my trucks in to a different dealership in Springfield it had some warranty work done, unfortunately did not catch all the issues the first time around. Have no fear Bryan is here. Probably one of the best service managers that I’ve ever dealt with with any of my fleet trucks. He reassured me that the issue would be resolved, and then it would all be covered under warranty. Not only that but he had someone from the shop drive my driver to the hotel and pick him back up from the hotel. What a nice facility, and extremely well trained representatives of this business.”

“My Mothers Day saviors!!! We stopped here on Mother’s Day on the way to my in-laws house after stopping at several places (ie Walgreens, grocery stores - all of which were unsurprisingly sold out) for a nice bouquet to add to the gift we were giving my MIL. Knowing that Mother’s Day is the busiest day of the year for all florists, I was fully expecting to be turned away. It was already a little later in the afternoon, but I was extremely happy to see they still had plenty of flowers and all hands on deck. There was virtually no wait even tho there were several other customers and everyone working was busy with various arrangements. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I told them how much I wanted to spend on a spring mix bouquet and they started on it right away. It turned out to be a beautiful selection of flowers, wrapped neatly and professionally... and they even tied a bow with a beautiful wide, sheer, purple wired ribbon. Just perfect and well worth every penny! The flowers were without a doubt fresh and well handled/cared for. The team working there that day was just great. For being the busiest day of the year everyone working were so at ease and seemed to be having fun. It definitely had a calming influence on me & just helped me feel I was in good hands. I walked in frazzled, stressed, & desperate and I walked out relieved and excited to give that beautiful bouquet to my MIL... she absolutely LOVED it!!! Thank you SO very much!!”
