“This is such a terrific place, it was perfect for our one-night stay. My wife and I wanted to go visit Scratch Brewery, so we were looking for a place sort of nearby. The innkeepers Julia and George are truly delightful people, very kind and attentive; and Julia is an outstanding cook. The room was so nice and the bed comfortable. We had a relaxing time sitting on the spacious back porch and going to the White Rooster Farmhouse Brewery a short walk away. I am often quite picky about where I stay, and I found no fault whatever in The Orchid House. We will definitely be back again.”

You know how sometimes you are given a small cup of water and expected to gently nurse from it the entire meal? Not here. The pancakes are average compared to the various breakfast places. This means they are good but nothing special. The skillets and other dishes is where they shine!”

“The chicken sandwiches are definitely pretty good and especially if you get them with a side of honey mustard. I also really enjoy the waffle fries. I like the fact that they have free internet. I wish they had a self-serve soda fountain machine in the lobby but there is free refills, you just have to go up to the counter. Today I was super hungry so I just got two chicken sandwiches and no fries but I really enjoy the fries every time❤ stop by get a chicken sandwich and don't forget the honey mustard👍”
