“We chose Lockhaven as our wedding venue and were extremely happy with our choice. As you can see in one of the photos, our wedding was during the (first) flood. Lockhaven was only open for 3 days before our wedding and they worked tirelessly to make sure everything was cleaned and accessible for our guests. We were very lucky to have our wedding there as the water quickly rose above accessibility levels the weekend following. Most venues are very strict with rules as to decorating and everything else, but Lockhaven was very accommodating to our specific wants and needs, and helped with everything we needed. Scott Schaefer made sure everything was done without question. If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, trustworthy, and accommodating so your big day can go as smoothly as possible without worrying Lockhaven is the place!”

“This is my favorite coffee shop in the US. I’ve been coming to Hansa for almost a decade and couldn’t recommend it more. The coffee is fantastic, the baristas are always friendly, and their homemade syrups taste super fresh and natural, never like chemicals unlike many other coffee shops. I’ve been to places all over trying to find a nearby replacement but nothing really stacks up. I live an hour from here and still come by frequently! Order an iced honey lavender latte for a treat :)”

“The employees were respectful and attentive. My food was prepared quickly and as I ordered. And I just love their little ice bits for soft drinks. So, it was as good as it could get… well, except for if I would have somehow won the lottery or was presented with a VIP JJ Card which gives me free subs for life (hint hint corporate dudes and dudettes). “I had a very positive experience with RootBusters Plumbing. My sewage line was starting to back up due to roots in the clay pipe. Phil happened to have an opening the same afternoon that I found his company online, so he came over after he finished up another job. He worked quickly, but did a very thorough job, and explained to me where he found the roots and what type of equipment he used. He was also very polite and seems to have a nice personality (speaking from a mom's perspective : ) I would use his service again.”

“I like La Michoacana but the new staff at The Howard St., Chicago, IL was slow , the line is not so long but she keep chatting with the other male associate who is busy. A Hispanic customer talked to her that she should stop chatting while working . When it was my turn to order she asked me a question how do I want my elotes and while she was preparing she asked me again the same question. While I was at the counter, and was trying to pay, before she handed me my change, she chatted again with the male associate, that I felt like grabbing my change. Disappointing day. I still like the old lady who works there, she was by herself but she was snappy and fast. Thnk you.”

Owned by Sodexo, so not the same policies or precise customer service you can expect from a corporate store (I used to get a paid refill, for about 60 cents all the time here).
