“I've lived at Hickory Grove for about 3 years now and have found it to be a first-rate experience. The complex is within 5 minutes drive of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and within 5 to 10 minutes of most of the restaurants and shopping areas in town. The complex is quiet and clean. My apartment's amenities are good. The rent is reasonable. Management and staff have consistently addressed maintenance issues and other needs quickly and in a professional manner.”

“Tucked away in the far end of a strip plaza and easy to miss is Angry Egg. A small local family run chicken restaurant offering fresh, never frozen chicken with a not so angry smile. We came in on a Friday near closing time and was greeted very openly by a lady who gave us a quick run through of the menu (written largely on the wall) and her suggestions and what was popular amongst locals. I ordered the namesake Angry Egg and my girlfriend had the Chicken and Waffles. One can definitely taste the quality of the chicken here. My Angry Egg sandwich was a bit of a mess, but tasty nonetheless. The chicken and waffles were exactly what one would expect. Restaurant policy is that near closing time all orders are taken to go. Which I do fully understand. But I feel that the policy compromised the integrity of the breading on both the sandwich and tenders causing it to absorb the condensation and fall apart in the to go containers. All in all, my visit here was enjoyable and I would come back. I would rate Angry Egg a little above 4 stars, but not quite 5.”

Barbie is so sweet she answers my silly questions on and off the clock and she also keeps in touch with me to make sure that am satisfied and comfortable. I don't really have to say anything about Dr. Rubinstein because if you know then you know but if you don't he is the bomb. He is very honest, cool, and he is an artist at what he do. I prefer customer service and the bankers knowing me over the more modern, online only, tech savvy banking my kids do. 1st Midwest may offer the more modern approach but I am happy with going to the bank and I’ve never been disappointed w service there. I strongly recommend if service matters!”
