“This place is awesome! My brother who was 66 years old had a stroke he ended up blind in the right eye and very limited vision in the left he was also unable to walk without assistance. He was sent to a nursing home he hated it. We spoke with Mr. Barcuri he explained his condition to the family also why he would have a hard time adjusting to life in the nursing home. My sisters weren’t on board. My brother left the nursing home and moved into a motel which he couldn’t afford making himself only days away from homelessness. I called Mrs. Dryer she comforted me and told me that she would take care of my brother like he was hers in a matter of less than 2 weeks she had gotten approval for financing, found him a Doctor and furnished his apartment. When he came to her that afternoon his blood pressure was elevated and he was confused she worked overtime on a Friday night and before she left she called me to say he is admitted I have his blood pressure under control his medications I gave him dinner and he’s resting and she told me to relax and have a good night as well. Since that time he has been given physical therapy and under the care of a Doctor unfortunately the Nurse Verconica noticed that he had signs of having another stroke he was rehospitalized but they welcomed him back home. He now has pace services and they also helped him to get blue cross and blue shield insurance. My sisters and myself are also handicapped and cannot take care of my brother but we are convinced that there is no facility any better that you could find to provide the level of care time and attention that they give to their residents. People stop looking this is the best. I am a retired LPN and I know for a fact the level of communication and coordination that this staff has is unmatched. They are AWESOME!!”

“I'll start by saying that the review posted about the spinach dip not being served hot enough was spot on. My wife and I just had our first experience with sunset overlook, and in all a very positive one! The spinach dip was excellent but was not hot and the server had to reheat dish. We also had a specialty pizza, sausage and pepperoni, the pizza was a little overcooked and needed a little more sauce but had great flavor. I think timing might have something to do with it as we showed up right when they opened. My wife and I are definitely coming back again!”

“Such a great aquarium. Such a grand entrance and well laid out sections. I kinda liked having each section circling the carousel. It seemed to make things easily accessible and make it so it didn't feel so crowded. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cafeteria area had a great selection with outdoor seating and cool views. The dolphins and beluga whales were definitely the hit for everyone. Will definitely make time to visit next time we're in Chicago!”

“I thought this place is great, the mini pancakes and the crepes had a fantastic flavor and were fresh. Also, I got there 5 minutes before closing time and not only was the staff willing to make my order they were also friendly. Many people continued to come in after me and were also served. As a business owner I can say that this is great customer service, but I would also like to suggest hiring more people because my order was ready at a different time, so by the time my order was fully ready some of the items were cold. Overall I think this place has great potential and will grow. The prices are reasonable, if you want quality it is going to cost.”

“The HSHS Medical Group facility in O'Fallon is very clean and organized. My appointment was scheduled online and I received several reminders with instructions to arrive 15 minutes early. There were a few people in the waiting room when I arrived and I was greeted by reception as soon as I opened the door. The up front staff was very friendly and set me up quickly without having to complete any lengthy paperwork. They asked a few questions and took my picture to add to my profile and assist with ease of future check-ins. I waited approximately 5 minutes before Amy's assistant came to the front to get me and take me back to a room. She went over a handout they provide new patients showing how their "My Chart" system worked and some guidelines for office visits, asked me a few additional questions, took my weight and vitals and went to go let Amy know I was ready for her. I waited there for an additional 5 minutes and Amy came in. She looked over my information and asked a few additional questions then examined me. She listened to my concerns and was very attentive to helping resolve them. She ordered a full bloodwork panel to establish my general health and took me over to their in house lab where I was promptly assisted and on my way. I have never had any other physician order intial bloodwork for me. The results were also provided very promptly via the My Chart application the next day. I look forward to being a patient of hers.”
