  2 1/2 years ago I lost everything but my life; almost lost that. Then Jason walked me through my now Yellow Apartment & I signed a contract immediately. Ar that time I felt hope & the feel of my apartment put a smile in my heart that doesn’t leave. I am so grateful that Yellow Apartments exist here. When nothing in my life is going well, I still consistently feel a sense of joy, peace and safety daily because I live in this one-of-a-kind apartment! I dearly love it! Thanks, Jason & J.R., for giving birth to the Yellow Apartments and to your dependable and highly capable staff!

  It has been over 50 years since I graduated from Knox High School in Starke County, Indiana. It was my distinguished pleasure to spend my last two years of high school in Knox, after moving from Chicago. I took with me that day in May of 1961 more than a diploma. It was ingrained in my mind, because of the fellow students I met and befriended, the true meaning of hospitality. It was very, very genuine.
  Due to family obligations, it became necessary for me to move back to Chicago shortly after graduation. But I will never consider any place but Indiana as my home.
  Fast-forward many decades…In recent years I’ve been in contact with a friend of mine I’ve known since high school, who currently resides in Fort Wayne. It’s been his suggestion that my wife Lisa and I move to Fort Wayne, and he also suggested that we consider Yellow Retirement as quality place to live.
  For the past few years it has been my pleasure to be in contact with administrative and clerical staff at Yellow Retirement. They have exemplified genuine “Hoosier Hospitality”.
  My wife and I had the opportunity to check the exterior and interior of one of their apartments. We found our experience pleasing. The housing is not only practical in nature, but very pleasing to the eye.
  We have finally decided to move to Fort Wayne this summer. We plan to take our positive journey on our own “Yellow Brick Road” to Yellow Retirement—finally “back home again in Indiana”.

  I have been a resident of Yellow Retirement for 13 years and am very happy. Maintenance is always helpful and knowledgeable and so is the office staff. I have great neighbors who look out for each other. ????????

  We have lived here for five years and couldn’t be happier. Maintenance takes good care of us and our needs. If you are looking for a friendly down home place to call home, check out Yellow.

  My mother lives at Yellow Retirement in New Haven and loves it! The office staff is very friendly and always helpful. The maintenance crew is prompt and thorough. I feel very comfortable knowing my mother lives in such a wonderful community. Keep up the good work!
