  Joe and Nathan are extremely knowledgeable about their industry and products but you would expect that from any local bike shop. What makes their shop my favorite bike shop in Southern Indiana is how friendly and helpful they both are. They have a very clean and well stocked shop but it is their advice and recommendations that keep me coming back. They really want to help you find what is the right product for you (whether it is a bike or piece of clothing or piece of gear) rather than just trying to up-sell higher end products. I look forward to doing business with them for many years to come!

  I had an accident on a Saturday afternoon where my chain broke, and so after I'd gotten my bike back to my car and was driving back through town, I checked to see if any bike shops happened to be open so I could get my chain replaced. Considering it was late afternoon on a Saturday, I wasn't optimistic.
  
  I pulled into Columbus Cycling & Fitness's parking lot at 5:05 p.m. (as of this writing, they close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays), just as the owner, Joe, was leaving.
  
  I told him it was fine, I knew they were closed, and that I could come back another day. He insisted that we go back inside right then so that I could get a new chain put on. When we got inside, we ended up replacing my cassette as well, as it was pretty worn out.
  
  All told, he spent about 30 minutes past the official closing time of his store to help me out and get my bike in good riding shape. All this when he could have easily just told me that they were closed and to come back another day.
  
  It was a very gracious gesture that I won't soon forget. I highly recommend this store.

  Joe and his crew are all top notch! The recent remodel has given the business a new fresh and modern look. Bikes and accessories are layed out in a manner that make it easy to locate and view. I happened to make a late visit for a rear tire repair and was in and out in under fifteen minutes, gotta love that, thanks Carson! Keep up the great work Joe and crew, thanks for your cycling support.
