(July 10, 2018, 11:17 am)What a great shoppe! When you stop into this Pittsboro gem, you'll never know what you're going to be leaving with. They always seem to have something you didn't direct to find in the store.
Of course, being a butcher shop at heart they have all the beef options you'd expect. From NY Strip, sirloin, ribeye, and filet mignon steaks, to Porterhouse / T-bone whole tenderloins, and racks of ribs. They also have freshly ground beef, pork, and usually bison meat as well.
If those aren't tempting enough options, there are also many types of bratwurst to choose from, chorizo, and other pork sausages, plus bacon! Or maybe you'll find yourself wanting seafood, in which case you can often find shrimp, tuna, or salmon.
While you're there, you can also pick up fresh made bread or buns, seasonings, dry ribs, sauces, and marinades. And don't forget your classic sides: slaw, potato salad, and pasta salad to name a few.
Last, but certainly not least, they've got fresh produce, candies, candles, and pies for dessert.
