“My new fave for lunch with the hubby. A step back into a 50's diner, complete with juke box and root beer floats big enough to share. The decor is full of conversation starters. The staff is super friendly. And the food, WOW! Portions are large to say the least and the quality is superb. We even split the hubcap tenderloin and got an appetizer and still couldn't finish. The price is beyond reasonable. If you're looking for great food and something a little different, this is the place. Highly recommend!”

“I've came by here many times wondering if Whiskey River was open or closed. Let me guarantee you they are definitely open and according to Stephanie, our waitress, an employee of 15 years, it's open all but three days a year. Their chef has also been here over 20 years. I had the endless walleye with sides of steak fries and green beans. Stephanie recommend the Texas ketchup. I am so glad she did bc it went perfectly with the walleye and my appetizer of fried pickles! I also tried the twice baked potatoes.. fabulous! This is a BBQ place so for all you out there who love BBQ this is a place for you. Whiskey River is great food and good times. Come try it for yourself!”
