“I've came by here many times wondering if Whiskey River was open or closed. Let me guarantee you they are definitely open and according to Stephanie, our waitress, an employee of 15 years, it's open all but three days a year. Their chef has also been here over 20 years. I had the endless walleye with sides of steak fries and green beans. Stephanie recommend the Texas ketchup. I am so glad she did bc it went perfectly with the walleye and my appetizer of fried pickles! I also tried the twice baked potatoes.. fabulous! This is a BBQ place so for all you out there who love BBQ this is a place for you. Whiskey River is great food and good times. Come try it for yourself!”

“LOVE the atmosphere here. The restaurant is an old house with cozy rooms that present a very intimate feel. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. They have a whole room of wines for purchase and a wine bar upstairs with live music. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food wait was a little longer than most places, and not all of our dishes came out at the same time, but besides this, the visit was was extremely pleasant! Would definitely go back!”

New 4 with 4 is cheaper than fast food combo. Special includes sandwich, fries choice of sides and chocolate chip cookie. Highly recommend this Steak n Shake.
