“When we decided to use hospice for my mom, I immediately thought of Unity. The hospital social worker helped with contacting them. That day they came. A chaplain stopped by to see if we needed anything. A very nice lady walked us through the paperwork. We discussed mom’s wishes and what we needed at home. A bed and supplies were brought in. We got mom home by ambulance. The hospice nurse was right there to help us settle her in. The nurses were only a text or phone call away. When she passed they helped with calling the funeral home, disposing of medications, making sure we were ok. The chaplain checked in on us, too. Very smooth and respectful end to a long and beautiful life. I’m glad they were there to help our family on this journey.”
