(January 29, 2019, 3:45 pm)We went into The RoomPlace with a game plan in mind, as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Chris Ottinger and I explained to him exactly what we were looking for. Our sofa was broken, we are in a transition of remodeling the room - painting, wanting to put down hardwood floors basically a disaster zone. I told him we were probably more the clearance zone kinda people as opposed to the showroom floor and he was fine with that. He took us to the clearance zone and we looked and looked and really couldn't find what fit our needs or what we wanted and thru it all he was very patient. We walked out to the showroom and BOOM there it was the PERFECT sofa which happened to be part of the perfect sectional for us! Thank you Chris!
We even have our table and chairs picked out for our next purchase! ☺️

SO - I just want to post a small update -- the sectional we purchased has a wedge that is supposed to be Bluetooth compatible with speakers on both the upper right and left hand side. The day after it was delivered we realized 1 of the speakers was defective. We called they opened a service ticket on this. The tech came out said it was definitely a bad speaker he would put the order in for a new speaker and when the speaker arrived we would need to call to schedule someone to come out and install the new speaker. Then we get a call saying they are replacing the wedge instead of the speaker so we schedule delivery. The day before delivery I get a call that the wedge they are loading on the truck for delivery is damaged and it is going to be another 7 days before they can get a new wedge delivered to us from Chicago. Keep in mind we originally purchased this set on January 5. Here it is January 29 and we still have not got our original issue resolved?
For 24 Days we have had a defective wedge the ONLY contact we have had has been from the customer service area scheduling something either delivery or a tech visit or a delivery. But we have yet to receive a follow up call to see if everything is ok. What has happened to Customer Service???? -

(December 26, 2018, 9:32 pm)The sales staff was quite friendly, and when the original fellow got to be out of his depth he was given great support by his Store Manger. She understood our concerns, and took over helping us. He was sent to help new arrivals while she finished with us. As she helped us she continued to efficiently direct her store's staff to best aid all of her customers. This store is well run and takes care of both its people and its customers.
