Great place and very professional. All the instructors and staff are very friendly and encouraging. As they all say, the hour I spend there everyday is the best hour of the day.
If someone has not tried the Hot Power Vinyasa Class, I highly recommend, it is difficult but amazing.
I love the entire vibe of The Hot Room! As someone who has always been intimidated by gyms, I found that I was not doing my body any good by being inactive. The classes challenge you physically, but also break a mental barrier that makes you truly feel accomplished after each class.
Some of my favorite instructors include Laurie, Kylie, and Katie - although I'm pretty sure everyone is amazing here!
I am loving the Hot Room! Everyone who works there has been friendly and extremely helpful. I haven’t felt judged or looked down on for being a newbie. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to try hot yoga. You will always feel welcomed!
I have done yoga off and on in the past in other settings on the north side of Indy and never felt a full level of mental and physical challenge until practicing at the Uptown Hot Room. Everyone there is welcoming and positive from the moment you walk the the doors. There isn’t any sort of status or popularity contest here, which made me want to come back. I highly recommend The Hot Room to any yogi who wants the growth and connection without the peer competition.
I came with a friend to what she described as the hardest thing I’ll ever love. This place is open and inviting, and probably the most satisfying experience I get to repeat daily. The strength I feel after class, focus and relaxation have made my human experience better and more enjoyable. It is worth every penny.

I also loved that the Hot Room is a judgement free zone so I am my only competition. The staff are very knowledgeable, too. I've had several different teachers in the past month--each have a different style and emphasize different points so I learn something new each class that allows me go deeper into a stretch or hold a posture longer.
Instructor Michelle Cohen has been teaching Pilates for more than a decade, and swears she'll never go back to a class at room temperature. "I see faster progress and better results in the heat," she says. "No question." 3855 E. 96th St., 317-218-3728; 305 E. New York St., 317-955-3123, indyhotroom.com
