  This is inside of a residential neighborhood, so you do have to be mindful that there are people walking on the road with their pets and such. Also, there are only 7 or 8 parking spots. If the lot is full DO NOT park elsewhere. You might be towed. The homeowners had a lot of vandalism and traffic damage from people coming to the trail, to the point Sycamore Land Trust board have had to hire security to monitor this trail.

  Great hike after a light dusting of snow.
  
  I first came across the peninsula while boating in the summer and made a mental note to come back.
  
  It's a nice, easy hike not too far from town with some great views on any day.

  Great trail. A few hills and some great lake views.

  Beautiful trail on Lake Monroe. Will warn that there are hills along this trail that will get you breathing hard! When I went this early summer the water level of the lake overtook the end of trail but I'm assuming it's fine now.
