It's really hard to find a good restaurant in a small town like Rising Sun. With that being said, Tequila's Mexican restaurant is a great food (place) for the town and its residents. Excellent (delicious) Mexican food! Had the Fajitas for Lunch, the grilled chicken with onions, bell pepper, tomato, salad, rice, beans with tortilla, it was, fresh, hot, delicious and it wasn't drowned with salt. It arrived with a basket of chips, bean dip and salsa all freshly made. What more could you ask for. A great place to take your wife or family for authentic Mexican food and the service friendly and very professional and fast!

(September 19, 2019, 9:08 pm)Tried Tequila’s while staying at Rising Star casino. Very glad we did. It’s all the way at the end of Main St., a one way street, by the river. Not busy on a Thursday night, we were seated and had chips and dips on table in 30 seconds, drinks in about 90 seconds. Impressive. Ordered meals of pollo con chorizo and the special meal. We were almost done with the chips when the meals came sizzling: 7 minutes. Food was excellent, service outstanding. Really glad we went and highly recommended.
