“I work closely with 2 older gentleman. You get to know your consumers very well and you get to be a family to them. It's not just a job, it's very rewarding. You learn nursing skills and how to deal with their behaviors. You get to take them out into the community, out to eat or just down to the lake for Fresh air. You do get attached to the consumers you are working with. Very laid back at my job, but I also cook, clean, pass meds, give shots, take vitals, and document all. It's very important to have a big heart to work at FNS , have patients and in some cases know how to deal with their bad behaviors. But I love my job and couldn't ask for a better place to work. The pay is not the best, but it's the love you get from your consumers that make it worth while.”

If you are willing to work they will take great pride in getting you better. The food is good the rooms are clean. The staff is what makes this place remarkable. No one wants to be here as they have been through trauma, but there is nowhere else I would want to be in the event that rehabilitation is needed. Plus the grounds are super nice and the flowers in the summer would be gorgeous.”
