“The staff was very nice and very helpful. They were there when I had a question in regards too the shower. I stayed in room 101 and it was very clean and elegant. The bed was very comfortable and clean. It was also cozy and helped me sleep better. The environment was very comfortable and welcoming. Miriam, was very polite and helpful when I checked out.”

“Our room was clean, and stocked well. We visited the pool and the hot pool, which I would say is a hot tub, but it's not a hot tub, as there are no hot tub jets. The hot pool was really nice and warm. The pool was a little too chilly to swim in even though it is an indoor pool. They have snack machines and drink machines and ice machines which was nice. Inside the room we had a little fridge and microwave. Our stay was really nice.”

“Great staff! Very clean and comfortable. Large rooms. This hotel has a bar with a decent menu, like burgers, wings, pizza, and fries. There is plenty more options on the menu. Lots of truck parking, and very trucker friendly. 50+ truckers stay there every night during the week.”

“We got in at 1:30am. The lady at the front desk was very kind and got us a room quickly. The room was neat but best of all the comforters on the bed were extremely soft and cozy, as was the bed. The pillows were a better quality then what I'm used to at hotels. The hot breakfast had a good variety of breakfast foods.... Overall we had a great experience.”

“My first thought was I'm not staying here long . The lady that was in the trailer next to me had a big dog that she didn't clean up after so there were dog droppings on that side of my RV. Then there was the train. The tracks run on the backside of the campground and trains come by pretty regularly. The reason why I stayed was the price was affordable. The people in the office went out of there way to work with me because I wasn't sure when I would get laid off from the job I was on . All and all if I work in that area again which I probably will, I would go back . This is more a place for the working class like myself with a few families that live there year round. From what I saw . I would recommend.”

“The Songbird was a very nice stay! It was a great getaway for a night from the kiddos. We got the couple's massage, and stayed at the Bluebird Room. “Old school awesome! A real key. No swiping cards. Lots of spaces in parking lot. Friendly staff you can talk to through the glass.Didn't see any Knights though,or any other royalty now that I think about it. They have a no smoking policy .It's either not enforced, or they make a lot of money off of the $250 dollar "fine",”

“I would like to visit again during the summer months. Everything closes after Labor Day. The train tracks were not bad. We brought a fan and had the air conditioner on so we didn't notice it. The staff are very friendly. The cabins are cozy!”

“Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Convenient location. They have a bar and serve food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). They have an indoor pool and workout room. Breakfast is NOT free, and has made to order offerings. Free parking. Google is non smoking. The u.s. a fireplace and seating in the lobby. There is also a large conference style table in the lobby for large groups to eat together.”

“The Hampton in Schererville, Indiana was a great hotel. The staff was so hospitable and helpful. We used the lobby area for a birthday gathering area for pizza, cake and soda. The pool was warm & clean as well as the adjacent work-out room. Rooms are very clean. This hotel is newer and updated in its decor.”
