And I need to say this it’s run by people that work almost 24 hours a day whenever I’ve reached out at four or five or 6 AM they’ve answered and they have compassion and grace. I am in the middle of a divorce which is why I needed storage units and they have just been such nice people. May God bless them. They are good humans.”

“I've went here off and on since I was a kid! Great access site for canoeing/kayaking. Nice little spot to do some fishing as well. The trails are not marked and seems they are a little overgrown. I couldn't find out where the trials actually were going to. But You can still walk around in the wooded area. There isn't much to them. Also has a nice pavilion to stop and eat lunch at!”

“You should check up on the history of this area if you haven't already! The people that work here are absolutely wonderful and don't have a prejudice bone in their body. The park is usually astoundingly clean too but remember we all gotta do our part so please at least pick up after yourself. Definitely one of my favorite state parks and I've heard it's a wonderful place to work too!”

“Google maps directions sends you to the back side of the building so know you need to take the next road east from where the directions send you. I don't mind the new permit requirements, but I do think the instructions need to be clearer with drop boxes at the locations where permits are necessary.”

“Absolutely beautiful! Be sure to grab the Self-Guided Tour pamphlet at the admission counter. Species from around the world are in the temperature and humidity controlled conservatory. The Sunken Gardens boast seasonal flowers and many benches on which to sit and reflect. Blake's Garden is an adorable little children's garden presided over by resident chickens. The outdoor gardens are free, and admission to the Conservatory was $3 on the day I visited. Well worth the price of admission!”
