“We paid $50 for Benjamin Franklin to show up late and tell us that we needed an entire re-piping and a septic pump. The septic guy said our tank was fine, so we got a second opinion on the piping. We called Kellie and their guys showed up about 30 minutes after hanging up. They fixed the clog in less than 20 minutes and charged a modest rate. I will always go to them first from here on out. Great service and great response time.”

But the real story... he fixed a minor issue with a toilet at no charge and made a recommendation for how to proceed in the future. He also upgraded the piping setup for our basement ejector pump. “On Nov 4, 2021 Schaefer plumbers Aaron and Bobby came to our house in Valley City to reroute our basement sump pump to an outdoor downspout. They were right on time and got the job done in about 2 1/2 hours. They were very nice and very professional. They did and excellent job and cleaned up everything when they were done. The price Schaefer Plumbing charged was well worth the money for service provided. I thought about doing the job myself. But I’m really glad I hired these professionals to do the job. They say, "we'll come out and give you an estimate." Stay away from them. Wolfe charges by the hour, which ends up being WAY cheaper than Greenwell or especially Summers.
