“They actually shave the meats for the sandwich in front of you. Everything done fresh except the dressings. The penny club was amazing. The fountain drink station was a bit confusing as I'm not to familiar with a machine like it. It had a touch screen to pick your favorite soft drink plus sub categories and then and extra button towards back to push for ice. They also offer a 16" sandwich for sharing although I wasn't that hungry! I stuck to the usual foot long sub. Great staff and inside seating was fairly large and clean. The restroom was also clean.”

“This is such a great coffee shop. They have good coffee but if you go, you can't miss the pastries. I wanted one of everything! The baristas are kind and personable. The seating is limited and I'm sure it fills quickly, but we were able to snag a table right when we arrived. It's a good change of pace from the normal Starbucks run!”

“The people there are so nice and understanding. They allow you try several different things, such as bows, strings, instruments. I'm pretty sure they offer private lessons too. Everyone there just makes sure to let you get what you need and the people actually know a lot about music so they understand the problems the musicians face. “One of my favorite places to go. Food is always good and they have the best chicken strips in town! However, not a fan of the South room... it tends to get filled with smoke from the outdoor smoking area it's connected to and is also extremely loud on that side. During my last visit, the staff was great about moving us to the North room eventhough they were packed with a 30 minute wait.”

“We moved to KC and immediately began searching for contractors to renovate our newly purchased (but older) home. We initially interviewed several and were not convinced we wanted to hire any of them for one reason or another. My designer came across Joseph and our search was over immediately after meeting him and his workers. Joseph and his crew are professional and trustworthy. He is straightforward and honest - something that is very hard to come by when working with some contractors. On top of that, he is very pleasant and kind. We hired him to complete a major master bed and bath renovation, but ended up expanding the scope to remodel most of the rest of the house (new windows, roofing, hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, exterior stucco, painting, and electrical/lighting.) Our project was large and got even larger as it progressed. As is common with an older home, issues came up along the way. Joseph handled everything with patience and the utmost professionalism. He is very easy to work with and clearly cares about his clients and making them happy. We’ve been in our home for about a year now, and are so grateful with the final product due to the work completed by Joseph and Solid Rock! I highly recommend Joseph to tackle any future renovation - his attention to detail, honesty, and professionalism have set the bar very high!”
