“Friendly community, worshipping in fairly traditional manner, very friendly for visitors. All English services. Priests are very friendly and good for asking questions about faith or personal growth issues. Strongly recommend this community for those wanting to worship and grow in a way consistent with early Christian teaching. All choir singing is a capella, with the full community encouraged to sing along when they know the music. There is a bookstore and lending library that help elaborate on the denomination's teachings. There is a regular cycle of weekly services, but there are also significant additions to this, depending on annual holidays, so there is plenty of opportunity for communal worship. The community also eats an informal meal on Sundays after morning worship. Various educational opportunities exist in most weeks.”

“For over 20 years I have been bringing our pets to Hawthorne Animal Hospital. I often laugh and tell friends that the Hawthorne doctors/vet techs care more about our pets than our doctors care about our human family! The entire staff is patient, eager to answer questions, and show genuine concern for our pets. Our annual visits are thorough and unrushed. The vets take their time and seek to answer all questions and concerns, as well as educate the pet parent about pet care and any necessary medicines. Our pets also enjoy superior grooming services here! I highly recommend this animal hospital!”

“Both my father and step-mother were residents at Stratford Memory Care for over a year. My father, needing skilled nursing, was there to be able to stay with his wife, not because of any memory issues. They both enjoyed excellent, loving care. The staff were always willing to work with us on any matter and are committed to providing top-quality care. Sometimes, the best indicators of care are small things. For example, when my father returned from a hospital stay, I watched the faces of staff who smiled and went out of their way to welcome him back. “Andrea, the owner, is second-to-none. I recently had a horrible experience at another "popular" salon in the area. Not getting to far into it, the other salon messed up my hair horribly. I have my wedding in a year and have been trying to correct the damage this other salon did. I found Rumors online and reached out to Andrea. I was weary of any salon, given that I had a horrible experience at a salon that was rated highly by others. Andrea listened to all of my concerns and gave me a 20 minute free consultation. She noticed the the issues and noticeable damage left in my hair. I had chunks of my hair cut out that other salons didnt even know how to fix. Andrea immediately knew how to fix it and walked me through what she would do. I never felt pressured and knew she genuinely wanted to help. I scheduled a haircut a few weeks after that. She gave me some shampoo samples and conditioner to get my hair in good shape for the haircut. When I went in to get it cut, she did EXACTLY as she said and went above and beyond what i thought was possible. Before she did any cut, she told me what it would look like and how it would fix my hair. Her skill and knowledge is incredible. She fixed my hair and it looked the best it has in years. I have been able to wear it completely natural for the first time in a year since my awful haircut at the other salon. Andrea and Rumors salon is an absolute gem in the Kansas area. I have never trusted a salon more with my hair. I already have appointments set up through the year to get ready for my wedding and I couldnt be more excited to have Rumors salon to take care of me!”

“Was seen very quickly. The receptionist was very professional understanding and has a very positive attitude. And when came in I was really nervous and had anxiety. And the dr. was very reassuring that everything would be OK. She also talk to me and asked me proper questions to find out my diagnosis. The doctor that I went and saw was Lindsey Carl. I was having upper and lower respiratory issues that was due to extreme exposure to mold issues in my apartment complex. And when she asked me questions she was very professional. Also when I ask questions she was very quick to respond and a educated and professional response. And I felt that she took time out of her busy schedule to write me a letter for my apartment complex stating that my living environment could cause me a lot more serious health issues in the future.
