“Awesome trails. My wife and kids and I love to go biking on the trails here. They tie in with Shawnee Mission Park to the North and Mahaffie Farms to the South. Just a word of caution, if you go late in the evening, the park closes the gate to the parking lot at dusk and they are locked.”

“Nice park with sand area, picnic tables, walking path and in general seems clean. The women's bathroom has a baby changing station, not sure if the guy's bathroom has one. Right across the street is a Price Chopper so it's easy to get lunch or a snack right after playing.”

“Small park with a nice and clean playground, well maintained. Has access to walking trails that are in a semi-wooded area. Keep an eye out for snakes around the creek and don't forget the dreaded oak mites (haven't been bitten, but they sound awful). Covered picnic table area available. No parking lot, plenty of street parking; no bathroom.”

“This is a nice city park, with a good playground four youngish kids, a nice bike path around the park, connections to a bike path to points elsewhere, a good size field, a pavilion, a Korean themed garden meditation area and nice restroom. The main use of this park is the playground for families with kids in the 2 to 8 year old range. While there is a nice parking lot, it usually is mostly full because this park is popular.”

“Wonderful place to take a bike ride or hike if that's your preference. Tons of shade. Wonderful streams and landscape. You may even have a deer cross your path like I did. The pavement is extremely smooth and there are plently of places to stop and take a break. Well done.”

“This is the off leash park where my puppy has consistently had the best experience. It's great that they've pave the path all the way to the lake. Plenty of room for everyone. Paths to explore, open areas for fetch and play. A beach for all of the water loving dogs.”
Address: S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062, USA
“There’s hardly a trail in Kansas that’s quite like the Indian Creek Trail, besides the connected Tomahawk Creek. The ICT allows you to bike at most 40 miles, going both ways from a location. The trail goes all the way from Leawood (though it connects to the Blue River trails in Missouri) to Hampton Park, in Olathe! If you are looking for bike trails to start off in the KC area, the ICT’s your best bet, considering the drive to the enormous Katy Trail is hours.”
