“I have had a bunch of health problems that basically led to no saliva in my mouth which led to A LOT of cavities...I think around 12? I went in a couple days ago to get eight of the last ones filled and he did an AMAZING job. The gal who numbed me did it right on the first try which I always feel kind of nervous about since the last office never could numb me all the way, (or if they did, I could still feel the pain and the dentist literally told me to just get through it because it “wasn’t that deep..” ) Let me just say that I have been to a not-so-great dentist’s office and Dr.Ty and his whole staff are like a breath of fresh air after that experience. Nothing but kindness, professionalism, and my bite feels surprisingly normal after eight fillings, and if my bite felt somewhat off, he gets you in very fast to fix it. If you are looking for a kid-friendly, professional office with great doctors, this is a gem on the east side of town! Hats off to this office for their excellence in caring for patients! We are so glad we found you!”

Only downfall is this is not a dollar store and some products cost more than any other stores and other stuff you can get for great prices. I feel like it could be a little cleaner inside as well. “Today was my first visit to Houlik Family Dentistry and l was in tears five minutes after my appointment. Not that anything went badly, but quite the opposite. The staff was so kind and professional, the office was absolutely immaculate and Dr Houlik took the time to sit next to me, (explaining everything) while looking straight into my eyes. He obviously cares about his patients and wants to make sure they’re treated with respect and dignity, rather than just being a number. A very pleasant experience indeed.”

“I was extremely nervous to have my wisdom teeth and two other teeth extracted. However, Dr Harris was extremely kind and answered all of my questions. He was also supportive of my request to avoid prescription pain pills, as I know how dangerous they can be, and suggested alternatives. Post surgery, I alternated between tylenol and ibuprofen as well as ice and heat therapy. The worst of my pain was maybe a 7, and the swelling of my cheeks was the most painful part. I did not experience any unexpected symptoms and genuinely felt very little pain. As of today, it has been 4 weeks since my surgery and everything has healed beautifully, and I am back to normal. Thank you so much Dr Harris and everyone else at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates for doing such a wonderful job. I am so grateful to have had a good experience with this surgery.”

“I had a rare disease called Cushing’s (now in remission) and began seeing Dr. Mortada after having surgery in Oklahoma City to remove a pituitary tumor that was causing my disease. My previous endocrinologist was very unresponsive, and I did not feel confident that she could manage my care in a safe way. I messaged Dr. Mortada’s office and was able to get an appointment with him within a few days. He was very knowledgeable about the secondary adrenal insufficiency I had post-op and has had a plan from the beginning with tapering me off of hydrocortisone. I use the portal to message him, and he has exceeded my expectations in responding very quickly. He even referred me to a rheumatologist when new symptoms started that were separate from my endocrine issues and seemed to point to autoimmune disease. I have been a patient for 7+ months and have found all of the office staff to be friendly and professional. I am very grateful for Dr. Mortada and his compassionate, knowledgeable care.”
