“I'm not one to post a review. But after so many years of being a patient of Dr. Van's and his team, I simply have to. I'm one of those grown men who feared a dentist office more than a young child. Yeah..I admit it. Now while I still have the "pre-appointment" fear of having metal objects put into my mouth while laying in a prone position, Dr. Van puts me at ease immediately everytime. The guy is simply amazing. Not just so in his skills and knowledge, but his compassion for his patients and understanding that "we don't know what he knows". And he simply takes the time to explain every process that will occur, prior to it occuring. His attention to your "tenseness" or possibly reaction to anything he or the assistant does, relieves the worry someone like me has that "hey...does he know I'm flinching"? I'm in the service industry...so how a customer (patient) is made to feel unique...feel special, is very important and almost a lost art. Not with Dr. Van and his entire team. I could go on and on....but am hoping my sincerity and appreciation of these folks is conveyed in my review. There are lots of dentists...just as I have lots of competitors in my industry. A passion for what you do (and he does!), a focus on the customer and the outcome of their experience and just being a real "person" besides just being a service provider...is hard to find. Well if you are like me and want and appreciate this level of professional service...you'll find it in Dr. Van's office (AND HIS CHAIR!). :) Dr. Van and team....THANK YOU for what you do and how you do it. “The first time I came to this office I was worked into the schedule on a somewhat emergent basis due to extreme sudden pain that I'd been in the ER with over the weekend. I decided to follow up with them and have all my work done there because I enjoy the staff and the doctor. Shes always kind and sensitive to my concerns and comfort. I have a hard time with the dentist due to anxiety but they make it easier on me.”

“Very knowledgeable, thorough, and pleasant, both the hygenist and the doctor. They have an onsite 3-D copier which makes your inlay, onlay, or crown after they design it with the downloaded xrays and copies of the mold of the tooth. The 3-D copier makes a porcelain tooth, no irritating metals. This process, compared to the old processes, makes a perfect, comfortable fit as close to your own teeth as possible, and generally it is all done within one sitting, no wearing an ugly temporary which inevitably pops off, no waiting for an offsite lab to make and deliver the product. Mind you I didn't I have that procedure done there, just a cleaning, but I did have it done in Palm Springs and I loved it and actually spent less on a product that has never given me trouble compared to a crown done the conventional way. I am impressed that they use that technology and do not use mercury fillings. . . A very up to date with the latest and best practices office. I feel very comfortable with the expertise of the professionals in this very pleasant practice and recommend them highly.”

“Always friendly. Smiles on everyone's faces. Pretty guest bathroom. Clean. Smells nice. No changing table available, otherwise I would give 5 stars. As a mom, this is very important, as I don't want to lay my baby on the floor to change him, even if I have a changing mat or the bathroom appears clean. Ew. Bright and inviting wait room. My teen daughter always comes out pleased with how she was treated. Thanks for great attention to customer care.”

“I go to Fry Orthodontic Specialists in the Blue Valley office. I am 14 years old and they make it comfortable so that it doesn't hurt. They also don't make me feel bad when I don't brush my gums regularly. They just encourage me to do better next time and they show me what happens if I don't. The ladies at the front desk are really nice and they know my brother and I when we come in. I love going! My teeth are already looking great! ”
