“This hotel cost me $52 plus the fees for my dogs. For that price, it gets 5 stars. The room was on the second floor towards the back and it was clean and seemed updated to me. It did smell kind of like used to be a smoking room but otherwise was just fine for a stop on a road trip where we just needed some sleep.”

“Just got home from Country Dreams B & B in Marion, KS. We had a wonderful time. My hubby got his turkey with help of Jim the personal guide, I got my rest without having to ask! Had wonderful family style dinners served up by Alice, a clean organized household with the help of Brenda. Kent was warm and welcoming. We will be going back. A beautiful lake, and lots of wildlife you can view from the sunroom. Oh, and the breakfast never stopped! I would give this a thumbs up!”

“My family and I stayed for a week and had a blast. We are a outdoor family and always had something to do. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We went for horseback rides, had bonfires on the beach, swam in the lake, played on the playground with the goats, and road bikes on the court. I even got to do Paco’s hair. “Cosy. Clean. Cute. Would stay again. A small bnb in a small town. Decorated beautifully but not too much that I was worried about ruining anything. A pint size kitchen (I don't think there was a stove) with a sink, microwave, and a frig with breakfast and snacks stocked. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room is part of a big room that the master bedroom is in.”

“18wheeler parking. Directly across from Loves. Rooms were quiet. Staff isn't available till after 3pm but were bilingual and accomidating. Changed our room almost immediately because of over powering animal smell. They placed us downstairs in a much nicer & cleaner room. It was very quiet giving us restful sleep.”

“I was looking for the closest location, as I was working at the local hospital for 3 days. Much to my surprise, this hotel was full of charm and history. I was greeted soon after my arrival by Veda. A warm smile and gracious lady who made sure all was well. Absolutely the best sleep away from home I have ever had. Full of history and charm, you will not be disappointed. There's no pool but you can see the Arkansas River through the trees and we have a wonderful New park just down the road from here.A new Deby park great place for a family reunion.Need I say more.Just now I realized that this place is a R.V. park.If your driving through and need a place to stop and relax in a country setting come on in . “I stayed here on Oct 7, 2022, while traveling From South Texas to Iowa for work. I am an older female, traveling alone, so I really look around where I chose to stay. Working on the road, I stay in hotels/motels a lot. I will admit, when I pulled into the parking lot I was concerned. There were no cars in the parking lot and it looked nothing like the pictures online. There are two other hotels, right there, and I quickly looked them up online. Those reviews were less than favorable (noise, theft, etc) so I took a chance and went into this place. Yes, the lobby had a "smell". The owners are of Indian decent and it smelled like Indian food. They live there...so it smells like what they cook. The man that met me at the desk was VERY nice and I could hear his baby's giggles from the next room. I was extremely tired and he was very accommodating. Compared to the other two hotels (with bad reviews) with very crowded parking lots and sketchy people hanging out nearby, the price was spot on for a quick one night stay on my way to somewhere else. I paid for my room and drove around to my door. I like being able to park right in front of the room door and not having to trek in and out through a lobby. First thing I ALWAYS do is check for bed bugs, before I carry anything inside. Then I check the cleanliness of the toilet and shower. It was fine. It's an older motel so it's NOT a HILTON....but I don't want to pay HILTON prices to stay somewhere for 8 hours. So...I pick my battles. By Midnight, there were two other cars in the parking lot. I got inside and settled. I am a smoker so I go outside. I rolled the desk chair outside and felt completely safe sitting outside, mostly alone. Check in and out was a breeze. Nobody messed with my vehicle. I slept well. It was very inexpensive. I had one complaint but I left and said nothing. The room I was in had no hot water in the morning for my shower. I let it run for about 20 minutes, just in case. It was still lukewarm. I took a cold shower. I slept very well, so I needed that wake up call, anyway. Again, picking my battles. I leave Texas for Iowa again in the morning. I hope I can make it to this place for my first night stay. I WILL check the hot water this time, though, and I will state that when checking in, so the owner knows what my expectations are...cause it's more winter now and I'm too old for cold winter showers. There is a Casey's gas station (they have breakfast foods) across the road and a McDonald's next to that. It's an easy on and off the main highway and it's pretty flat if there is inclement weather. I had a good experience at this Motel. I hope you do, as well. I will leave another review if my next stay is any different.”

“Room was your typical 2 queen room, clean, decent size microwave and mini fridge with freezer, beds were comfortable, given firm pillows like we'd asked. Only downside was that the hot tub was broken and blocked off which would have been nice to know before booking. We did enjoy the pool though. The hotel could also use better shower curtains as the water from the shower leaked out onto the floor pretty bad. Overall happy with our stay just would have been nice to know before arriving that the hot tub was out of order.”

“I was very impressed when I went in the room and all was clean and modern. This is an old hotel with the outside entrance but a very professional modernization brings it into this century with all the amenities of a new hotel. Bathrooms and sheets are extremely clean. Highly recommend! This is the best bang for the buck in Newton. The only thing I would change would be the number of electrical plugs (only have 4 total).”

“Everything you'd want in a campground except shade. Clean, flat, good restroom facilities and a nice lake (pond). I got there a little before sunset and left around sunrise so shade wasn't an issue for me but it would have been if I was there more during the day. I think I was the only tent though so shade wouldn't be an issue for RVs either.”
