I don’t trust many people to care for my dogs, but I realized very quickly I could trust her whole heartedly. She has a very gentle way of working with dogs, particularly the difficult ones. One of my foster dogs (who eventually became a permanent family member) started out nipping and biting at Dixie, for no apparent reason. Dixie was very patient with him and worked with him until he learned to trust her. This is just one of many examples. Dixie has been beside me for every foster adoption celebration and every heartbreaking loss. “Recommendation in Goddard, KS. We had to make last minute reservations because weather forced us to stop New Year's Eve before we had planned. We called them while on the side of the road nearby. The woman who took our call was very friendly, professional and helpful. We were then able to add another night when freezing rain and below zero temps kept us off the road New Year's Day. Due to the extreme conditions, we ran out of propane on the 1st and they were nice enough to come out and fill our RV on the Holiday in subzero windchills and refused the tip we wanted to give them.We dealt with 3 different people and all were wonderful. In addition to all of that, they had great facilities.”

“Very quiet campground. Plenty of room between RV’s. Full hookups. Has a restroom/showers and laundry room but never had to use it so I can’t honestly rate that. The woman who runs the campground was very friendly and available. Overall for the price worth staying and I would stay again. If you are looking for a luxury full amenities place to park your RV this isn’t the campground for you.”

“The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. John was absolutely amazing! There was an issue with the TV in the first room he had us in so he moved us to a different room. He was very nice. He went above & beyond to make us comfortable! He even washed my boyfriend's van off! I've stayed there several times in the past. I wouldn't have recommended it before but I highly recommend it now! The improvement is amazing & you can't beat the prices!”

“This place isn’t bad. The inside of the room was dated and The toilet is very low. However, it was clean with no smell. At night the place is well lit, and it was quiet and peaceful. There was continental style breakfast in the morning promptly at 6 am. I’ll stay at this place again if I’m in the area.”

“The manager Anthony was super friendly and so helpful during the heavy snow storm. He made sure I had everything I needed for me and my son since we got stuck and couldn't make it home! It was a spectacular last minute choice. Made sure to have a fresh cup of coffee in the front each morning 😁😁 our room and stay was so exquisite that I will be choosing this motel from now on !”

“Was there for kids camp this last week. It was great! The services were good, the salad bar was amazing. The grounds have a lot of fun things to do. Glow in the dark dodgeball, rock climbing wall, 9 square in the air, Gaga ball, some carpet ball tables that could use a little bit of updating. The pond has the blob which is great, a makeshift water slide that isn't amazing, but works for kids. The swimming area works well and they have kayaks and paddle boats as well. Some of the cabins could use some updating, but there are just so many that it makes it hard to do them all. All of the cabins have air conditioning and lots of bunk room. I believe the camp can hold a little over 500. It's not the newest, most up to date retreat center around, but it's a good affordable option for most people looking for a place in the area.”

“Overall this is a nice getaway for medium parties of about 50 people. It comfortably sleeps 14 with plenty of floor space for additional overnighters. With a quaint view of a large pond through a glass wall/doors this place will make you feel far away from the crowds. Minor pest issues and deck construction are the only reason I did not award 5-stars... Do expect a decent price on renting it though.”
