“My parents and I are at this location for the first time today, and it was a great experience. The food was on par with the other locations, which I’ve also given 5* (pictured below), but mainly I’ll focus on the experience. In the past, I’ve had issues with getting a table at shack because it’s so popular. While they don’t have reservations online that I saw, you are able to join the waitlist using the Yelp app. When we walked in, we were seated almost immediately, and they adhered to the following COVID precautions that I saw: - Social distancing and limited tables: they had tables that weren’t being seated and the tables that were seated appeared to be at a safe distance - Masks were worn by all staff at all times that I saw - There was hand sanitizer located throughout the restaurant - The restaurant, while new, was still clean and I felt “safe” to eat there All in all, it was a great experience and I’m glad we’re getting more quality restaurants in Lenexa!”

“Decided rent room on spur of the mo.ent and very glad we did. The lady up front was so nice and even rented me a smoking room. I didnt think they existed anymore. The room was large and pretty clean. It had a chair desk hide bed tv dresser iron hair dryer mini fridge and microwave. It was nice enough we decided to stay a second day.”

“The ambiance is good, and the staff is usually pretty friendly. I have found they miss on some of the details. Tonight, we ordered dessert based upon our waitress’s description of it. Unfortunately the item we got did not really match the description at all- it was described as chocolate cake with Oreo crust and peppermint frosting when in reality it was a block of peppermint ice cream covered in whip cream and chocolate sauce. Additionally, we ordered one burger well-done and one medium, and they were indistinguishable. Both were cooked well done. It’s never been anything that would keep us from coming back.”

I always expect much better deals even with the store coupons and app. In my opinion, I think these stores are still way to expensive and not much savings to have the word "Dollar" in the name. “We really enjoyed our week-long stay here, the staff is actually trying hard to keep everything clean, unlike other places who say they're cleaning regularly but don't. The staff was very helpful, the hot to go breakfasts were great, are there is only one open entrance to the building and is being monitored constantly. The lobby elevators common areas and our room were clean, the rooms are all Suites and are laid out great, comfortable bed as well as a nice office area and nice bathroom, TV was good too. Small negatives, the tile on the floor in our bathroom was loose and the grout was coming out, and one time due to a misunderstanding the cleaning lady came in the room to leave towels when we asked her to leave them outside the door, and there were slight small stains on the couch.”

Guy running it (I forget his name but he had a cane) was very helpful and even offered to grab a service tech to help me figure out how to get a bolt out of my valve cover that I got a bit too aggressive with and had snapped in half. Got me the replacement bolt I needed and didn’t try upselling me to a whole new cover like a lot of places would have. Will be checking their sales dept out next time I need to buy a vehicle.”
