“I am surprised at how many people are bashing CPS in Kenton County. These workers are under paid and they do not ever come to your home to do a visit based on whatever call or report that they received. They do have the best interest and well being of the child(ren) at heart. The parents may not feel this to be true because no one wants to be called on and have their job as a parent questioned or to have anyone question their love as a parent. They are not there to attack you and definitely not there to separate families. However their main job is to make sure the are safe and protected from any physical or emotional abuse. You should be glad that they care enough to follow up on the report they received. They can offer you a good amount of resources if you just allow them to do their job and hel you.”

I really appreciate that the trainers don't act like I can't do something because I'm a woman or because I'm new--it really makes me feel like I CAN do this and stick with it! And, I know this may be weird, but I really appreciate that the music isn't hardcore metal. 😂 It may seem little but it makes it feel like I belong there. With a focus on building you up, not tearing you down, and a lot of intentional skill building I am already seeing results physically, but even more growth mentally.
