“Having lived in Louisville before and knowing this area, it's not the best of neighborhoods, but we felt safe enough. There was only one other camper there when we were there. Dante is there on site and is very kind and accommodating. There is Electric hookup right next to your camper, the dump station is around back and you will be guided to it. It's 20 bucks to dump. Simple place to stay. No fancy amenities. But it did the job. We would go back. We ended up riding scooters back and forth because we have a mobile home that we were using to stay in while we were vendors at the art festival at St James Court.”

“One of our favorite parks. There is a nice, flat walking path. The area is well maintained. The playground is turf, which helps with mud and falls. There are two baseball fields for playing.”

“A perfectly adequate walking trail with woodland footpaths adjacent to it, however I did not see any distinctive features. I brought my dogs. However, if you do not live a convenient distance from the park, it is not worth visiting in my opinion.”

“I have lived here for over 3 years. The complex used to be called Riverport Rand. However, now that the property is managed by Paddocks at Ridge Park, there have been several improvements. The complex has a new dog park and a playground. There are more dumpsters. The inside hallways and staircases of the buildings are freshly painted. The outside doors are brand new. Most recently, the parking lots were restriped. The landlord Ms. Jackie has been a blessing to the entire neighborhood . Thank you for the improvements.”

“This was an absolutely beautiful hike! I didn't get to see the west pinnacles, but eagles nest, and the east pinnacles of were totally worth it. The hike up the Indian Fort was only 0.3 miles but it was very steep and Rocky. So make sure you're prepared for all the ups and downs and rockiness. Everyone we ran into was really nice.”

“Fun, beautiful place to camp and have fun with family. Wish pool was opened and some rude boaters when trying to fish and wish it had a better spots in someplace to get closer and easier way to the water. Other than that it was pretty fun”

“Debra our Guide was superb informative a had a great sense of humor . You can see the pride she has in her Gem The liberty Hall . Everyone please visit this place it’s absolutely amazing you get to see nearly all the original furnishings and extremely well-kept and on top of this, Debra was what she would be fine as the perfect guide. Love love this property along with the beauty of Kentucky and its people. George # and myself was just amazed with the library and furnishings. Even with my challenges involving allergies due to this time of season it was amazing tour. I look forward to making a donation to that cause the bluegrass foundation and she makes it a pleasure to donate. Thanks debra”

“Memorial Park is very nice. Spoonbread Festival was here weekend of September 16-28. I enjoyed the festival - lots of food booths and merchandise booths and a nice Car Show. I was here on the Sunday so I'm sure I missed a lot of fun events held on Friday and Saturday. Berea is always worth the trip. Love going to Boone Tavern Hotel to have lunch. A very nice place plus all the arts and craft stores around it on Berea College campus.”

“Its really clean and seems well taken care of. The play area for the for the smaller childreen has clearly seen better days and would suggest letting your child play on it, but the bigger one and swings seem in pretty good condition.”

“Nice place for a picnic or round of tennis. They have small hiking trails and baseball fields, and with the entrance to Tom Sawyer being closed off, it's a nice fallback to go to and kick back and relax. The only negative I would have is that they don't spray for insects, so there are a lot of flies and mosquitos to contend with. I've seen deer in the area along with friendly squirrels, possums, and other wildlife around the area as well for the nature lovers. I go there a couple times a week because I live close-by, and it's a nice place to relax and reflect. I recommend this park for you and your families for a day out.”

“What a beautiful park! There are great open spaces, access to trails and natural areas, and a dog park. There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly. There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room. If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.”

“Beautiful!!! The lady (I think Linda was her name) at the entrance was so welcoming and friendly and gave great directions. My mom and I enjoyed it so much we went back 4 days later with my daughter and grandson. Follow the the big yellow footprint 👣 and you will find the Giants, but there is so much more to see. Mr. Richard one of the park ranger was super helpful. Encourage the children to observe with their ears, not just with their eyes. Nature is beautiful Parking is good, bathrooms are clean.”

“Big fun park to hang out with little kids. Great tree near the swings for shade.”
Address: 5550 Charlie Vettiner Park Rd, Louisville, KY 40299, USA
“I am giving 5 stars with 1 word of caution - The park has plenty to offer: from fishing to dog parks and pickleball. There is something for everyone...... and that is where the caution comes in - I have seen a LOT of suspicious and illegal activity in the park. I wish there was more patrolling performed. While I have never had a serious encounter, I have felt uncomfortable.”
