(February 5, 2024, 10:50 am)Great place! I attended a fishing workshop there put on by Louisiana department of wildlife and fisheries. All of the instructors were awesome and learned a lot about the facility which has stopped ponds that are open to the public

(September 27, 2022, 6:19 am)Waddill will fulfill all of your bird watching desires! Bring some binoculars and just sit in the parking lot for 5 minutes. I went with a group of naturalists and birders and within the first 5 minutes of arrival we spotted 20 different species.

(June 13, 2021, 7:37 pm)Went here yesterday to participate in reels with dad's. This is a nice hidden treasure in baton rouge. I've never known about it and have lived right around the corner at times. The ponds are beautiful and the grounds are so nice. Def a good spot to visit and have a picnic or just relax.

(August 2, 2020, 10:38 am)A great place to visit! Fishing ponds, hiking trails, an air rifle range, archery, and an outdoor education center!
We couldn’t find anyone to ask questions and the trails weren’t very obvious, but it was fun to explore!
