“My mother was a resident of Good Samaritan for all most a year before she passed. I wanted to publicly thank the Good Samaritan staff for the compassionate and excellent clinical care they provided to my mother. My mother was not just the resident of a room and a bed at Good Samaritan ... she was Ms Ruth . They cared about my mother and they manifested that care in the 24 hour around the clock care they provided her. The staff was responsive to my concerns and request for information and immediately alerted me to any demise in my mother's health. I will be forever grateful for the care my mother received at Good Samaritan.”

“My hair feels great and looks great!!! I had a great experience from Patrice as she made sure my hair and scalp were cleansed properly and nourished. Brother Cornell gave me a great retwist and style. No pain with my trust and not s bunch of heavy products. He also gave me an education on my hair and what to expect on my loc journey. The only thing sad about this day was that I don't live in New Orleans, so I can't go here regularly to get my hair done.”

“So, I'm going to give this place a five star, because it gives me what I want. I do think that they could do better with their customer facing staff. Sometimes we give young people control of the front of house, but we don't train them or supervise them. Probably, because we don't have a standard ourselves. For example, they need to be trained as to the ingredients in the cake. We're in a place where people have allergies and those that don't have allergies are not eating certain things. Your staff should know what's in your food. And because they are sales people your staff should be able to make recommendations, know pricing and be able to upsell products like beverages. We should monitor their conversations and interactions between employees. Not discussing family business with a customer standing there. Or any business for that matter that doesn't deal with the customer right in front of them. I called on the phone and there should be a standard greeting with happiness in the voice. With that said I like the fact you have 10,000 choices available. I like that you're open very early. I like that you're in a place that's easy to park. That praline donut though is like buttery. Never tasted a buttery donut. And it's not too sweet either. I like being able to buy cake by the slice. I give it 5 stars, because of the product. But you could use some staff training.”

“Definitely some "hits and misses" in the past with this particular store in terms of customer service, but recently, it looks like those cashiers are gone (yay!). There is always a fantastic collection of items at really good prices, and the shop is very well-organized. I'll be making another trip to the store today!”

“Glenn, 1 of the B&B owners was very personable. He personally draws on a map the hot spots in the French Quarter. Our 1st night we arrived, he personally drove us through the French Quarter, giving us a little 1st hand tour, since it was the 1st time we've been in New Orleans. I loved his entertaining story telling & his historical knowledge of Louisiana. The house had beautiful antique decor, looking like a pristine museum of a historical home. Grr8 delicious homemade hot breakfasts every a.m. There were unlimited complimentary coffee, tea, water, soda, snacks & bowls of fresh fruit, which no hotel has ever offered. A wonderful homey B&B where we stayed 4 enjoyable nights. It was my 1st experience at a B&B. Now any other B&B I go to will have an awful lot of expectations to compare to the gracious southern hospitality we received at the H.H. Whitney House!”

“Talk about sensory overload! It seems that it starts to be old Americana on the right to the left being Latin American. There is just so much to look at. SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF. I look forward to coming back and getting gifts for myself and others in the future. It seems like a large flea market. What a great place!”

“Petite Rouge Cafe is a cute coffee shop with what appears to be a small studio in the back for meetings and pop-ups (thanks to Not Too Fancy Bakery for popping up). The latte I ordered was delicious. She even did some art on the latte. Tiny, but delicious. Service was warm and cheering as well. Only downside was the coffee top looked a bit dusty. I had to remove it to drink my coffee. Definitely clean those off. I do recommend Petite Rouge Cafe and I will return.”

“Excellent zoo!!! I love how it's separated by continent and beautifully decorated. Lots of things for kids! The monkey hill area is the best, kids can roll around on a grassy hill or hike up a stone stream and splash around. That is definitely a cool feature for when they need to burn off energy. The primates were the best!!! The momma and baby were so cute. The petting zoo was fun and they had a hand washing station at the end which was great. Food and drinks are expensive, I would bring your own lunch and snacks.”

“I’ve used this car wash numerous times and always find it clean and the equipment functioning properly. The last time I was there I inadvertently dropped the key fob to my truck. I called the posted number at the car wash and the owner immediately called me back and stated that he had found the key fob and he would return to the wash to meet me and give it back. Unfortunately our schedules didn’t line up over the next few days but via text messages he offered to drop it in my mailbox. He did this and I’m the process saved me a few hundred dollars. During our texting conversations he was very helpful, kind, and respectful. He now has a completely loyal customer in me.”

“They cleaned a priceless flight jacket of mine, it looks like it is brand-new. I had forgotten my jacket there; called them, they held it for TWO MONTHS for me. They are not the cleaner to choose for overnight turnaround, but their prices are great and the cleaning is utterly perfect. I trust them with my irreplaceable jackets, and will go nowhere else.”
