We were lucky enough to have been assisted by Dasha; the sweetest server! She has provided such an enjoyable dining experience, that we can’t wait to go back. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because at this price the food was not quite at the level I expected. It was good ...but at these prices I have had better food from other places. It might just be a case where they set expectations so high in every other area that the slightest weak spot shows up more. I would happily go back ...but I have found better steaks at this price in other areas, same for most of the other food. If they were just 1 step down in price point they would be 5 star across the board. But comparing them to others at this same price point I have to be fair....they nail it in every other area. If you are looking for "very good" food vs "excellent food", with world class atmosphere and service, they are spot on.”

“Food was very good, but i was surprised i was charged $1.00 for limes when i asked for some... $1 for a quarter of a 30cent lime - unreal. I heard they also charge for chips and salsa.$2.. if they are going to nickel and dime everything, they should tell you before or put it on the menu... which is about 25% higher for everything than the menu on their website. Pretty easy to swap out a new picture of their menu. Food was good.. service good too.”

“Long over due review! Soooo I’m Italian and VERY picky about Italian restaurants but we we finally found a winner!! Yes we drive from Baton Rouge but it’s absolutely worth it. Our first visit was in October for our anniversary dinner. We had the place to ourselves basically. We had such a sweet waitress who helped me with the menu (I’m recovering from eye surgery) She was very attentive and we never needed to ask for anything. Our last visit was last month and I was honestly impressed that the consistency of food and serve are STILL excellent. You can taste how fresh the ingredients, food and sauces are. You WILL have PLENTY of leftovers to dream about until the next day. The drinks are stiff without the stiff price too. We met Giavanna (the owners daughter) who was very helpful with my menu choice… Do yourself a favor and order the Carmella (named after her sister) and order dessert even if it’s to go. As a home baker I can tell you I rarely order dessert because it’s something generic and premade. Here the cake layers are light & fluffy, fillings and frostings aren’t too sweet. “Amazing food! This place is located in a residential neighborhood with street parking and a nearby parking lot. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated on a Saturday morning. We wanted to buy a Deneen Pottery mug but the owner told us she didn't have any to sell us..... bummed out. Our server today (can't recall her name) was very pleasant and efficient. “Gold is where you find it, and so is good seafood. On a road trip we passed through Madisonville, Louisiana, and had some recommendations as to where to eat. All were closed after the usual lunch hour so we stopped at a simple, rather rustic looking place, and were very pleased. The atmosphere is homey, the people running the restaurant are delightful, the prices were good, and the food was great. Orlando, the owner, came to our table twice to make sure we were happy, and gave us advice to what to see in Madisonville. I ordered the stuffed flounder with sides of new potatoes and vegetables. It came with garlic beard and a house salad with a dressing I had never had before, tomato creole. Seeing how large the entrees were at other tables, my husband had only the soup du jour of crawfish bisque. The flounder was huge and beautifully presented. It was deliciously fresh and more than enough for two.”

“Went to Duman for the first time and loved it! The service was really great, the food was incredible (and they have an extensive menu), and the atmosphere is lovely (so nicely decorated).
